🖋️  Short Biography

No-Wook received the B.S. degree in Earth Science, the M.S. degree in Applied Geophysics, and the Ph.D. degree in Environmental Geoinformatics from Seoul National University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 1997, 1999, and 2004, respectively. From June 2000 to August 2008, he was a Senior Researcher with the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM), Daejeon, Republic of Korea. He was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Geography, University of California Santa Barbara, USA, in 2008 and 2015, respectively. Since September 2008, he has been with the Department of Geoinformatic Engineering, Inha University, Incheon, Republic of Korea, where he is currently a Full Professor. His research interests include multi-source/sensor spatial data fusion, AI/ML-based remote sensing image processing, and geostatistics-driven spatial analysis, for advancing environmental monitoring and modeling.
