The Environmental Geoinformatics Lab (EGLab) in the Department of Geoinformatic Engineering at Inha University conducts interdisciplinary research on geo-modeling and quantitative analysis of environmental spatiotemporal processes using geostatistics, remote sensing, AI/machine learning, and GIScience.
Our main research focus is the development of advanced geo-modeling algorithms based on geostatistics/spatial statistics and AI/machine learning, as well as their applications to environmental monitoring, thematic mapping, and prediction modeling in interdisciplinary application fields, such as Earth Science, Geography, Agriculture, Environment, Hydrology, Ecology, Geophysical Exploration, and Public Health.
