STAR-CCM+ v10.04 NOW AVAILABLE

The highlight of the v10.04 release is the enabling of Computational Solid Mechanics with the Finite Element based solid stress solver. This innovation makes STAR-CCM+ the first tool on the market to offer both Computational Fluid Dynamics and Computational Solid Mechanics from a single and easy-to-use fully integrated environment. Please note that to use this feature, no additional license is required.

The CCM part of STAR-CCM+ stands for Computational Continuum Mechanics, named as such to reflect the vision for providing a truly multi-disciplinary analysis tool. With the release of v10.04, the name is more appropriate than ever before.
