The Dyersville Golf & Country Club was established in 1926 on 60 acres of ground on the Northeast edge of Dyersville.
The Dyersville Golf & Country Club has been a proud member of the the EIGA since joining in 1947 and began participating in invitationals during the summer of 1950.
The DG&CC has hosted the Annual Tournament 9 times in 1954, 1964, 1971, 1979, 1987, 1996, 2005, 2010 and 2015
The DG&CC has won the Annual Tournament 9 times in 1964, 1966, 1971, 1987, 1996, 2010, 2015, 2022 and 2023
The DG&CC has selected 6 of its members to be placed in the EIGA Hall of Fame.
Ray Reicher was selected in 1987. Ray began golfing in the EIGA when DG&CC joined in 1947 and made his first of 36 finals team in 1950. He made 21 consecutive teams from 54-74 and made his last finals appearance in 1995. He was also the first EIGA represenative for the DG&CC.
Don "Pooch" Ament was selected in 1996. Don began golfing on the Dyersville team in 1966 while still in high school and participated in 38 finals events. He made 25 consecutive final teams from 76-00 as well as being the DG&CC represenative for many years.
Ken Pettinger was selected in 2005. Ken represented the DG&CC in the EIGA for some 40 years participating on 19 finals teams between 1962 to 1996. Ken was a part of 5 teams that won the annual tournament.
Neil Meyers was selected in 2015. Neil has participated for over 45 years and played his first finals event in 1970 and as most recently as 2005 playing in a total of 19. Neil also served many years as the representative for the DG&CC for the Annual and the Senior Tournament.
Andy Traeger was selected in 2015. Andy began playing with the Dyersville team in the mid 70's and competed in 18 Finals events between the years 1977-2001. Andy was the overall tournament medalist in 1996 and was team medalist multiple times.
Mike Tauke was selected in 2015. A one of a kind person and player known for his always aggressive play and stylish knickers. Mike represented Dyersville 34 times over a 37 year span from 1978-2014 in addition to serving as the representative during the late 1990's and early 2000's.
