Student Memorial Walk

DuPont students took to the track on Friday, April 12 to honor Trecia Peterson. Mrs. Peterson was a DuPont High School Graduate and long time teacher and administrator for Kanawha County Schools. She was also the long time step-mom of DPMS science teacher, Mrs. Peters. Mrs. Peterson lost a 5-year battle with Breast Cancer this past October while serving as Assistant Principal of South Charleston High School.

Students, wearing pink and purple walked the DPMS track from 2:30 - 3:30 to honor her memory and support continuing efforts against Breast Cancer. Donations were collected and exceeded all expectations!
