Social Studies Fair

This year every student at DuPont Middle School will participate in the Social Studies Fair! The Social Studies Fair will be Monday February 23, in the Little Theater. All students must give Mrs. Harvey their proposal for the social studies fair (This is a handout She has given to students.). Monday, Feb. 23rd will be the date of the fair.

Students are required to pick a topic they are studying this year in social studies. Eighth grade will have to pick something related to WV, seventh grade will be ancient civilizations, and sixth will be US history.

More details are available from each grade level Social Studies teacher. The attachment to this message is the blank abstract they must complete and print.

• Social Studies Fair: Monday, Feb. 23rd (Boards and abstracts due Wed. Feb 18th)

• Regional RESA III Fair: TBA in March

• State Fair at Civic Center: Fri, April 24th

Students should go to the Library Assignment Resources page for tools to help prepare for their project. A Big 6 Organizer is recommended for this or any research!
