Troops will leave and travel up to camp – about 10 miles west of Clayton, GA. Troop leaders and chaperones will make arrangements for their girls to eat prior to arriving at camp.
Everyone will arrive and check-in with me between 5:00-7:00 and then go to their cabins to unpack the cars and get settled in their assigned cabin.
Friday night we will have an orientation meeting of dos and don’ts and then an all-girls event at the camp coliseum with a snack and drink provided.
All troops will have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining hall (included in the trip fee).
Each troop will have two activities in the morning and two in the afternoon. See below for the activity options for Brownie and Junior troops. Activity options for Cadette and Senior troops is still being worked out.
After dinner, there will be a lake-side SWAP party.
After the SWAP party, we will have another all-troop gathering at the coliseum. Each troop is asked to perform a skit or song for the audience. Staff will provide s’mores for all the girls at the party.
Depending on attendance, a late-night activity may be added to the itinerary for middle school and older troops.
We will have breakfast as a large group at 8:15.
After breakfast, everyone will go back to their cabins to pack up, clean the cabin and depart no later than 10:30.
Below is a sample itinerary for the past Dunwoody High Harbour weekends.
