Troops in 3rd - 12th grade (as of Aug 2025) can attend.
If space remains after registration and your troop is in high school, custom itineraries can be made. For example, the girls might choose to do two activities and then spend the afternoon at the waterfront. Or maybe skip the morning activities to sleep late and do work on a troop project in their cabin. If your older troop is interested in doing something like this, make sure to note it when you submit your activity preferences survey response.

The cost to attend $148 this year – for girls and adults alike – and covers four meals, lodging and all activities. There are no refunds!

To maximize the number of girls who can attend, we limit the number of adults attending with each troop strictly to Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta guidelines for trips and camping, as shown below:

To reserve your troop’s spot at the only 2024 HH weekend, August 22-24:

Bring your payment to the April service unit meeting - reservation and payment dates are very close together, so please get payment for your troop in ASAP.
To make your payment in full, you must turn in ONE check made payable to GSGATL Dunwoody Service Unit for your troop’s remaining balance - Multiple checks will not be accepted.
To determine your balance, multiply the total number of people (girls AND adults) by $148
Every adult attending must have a valid background check on file with GSG
At least one adult must be a leader
At least one adult must be CPR certified
At least one adult must have GSG Camping training
