Class Skills
The Vril Knight’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Autohypnosis (Wis), Balance (Dex), Concentration (Con), Diplomacy (Cha), Knowledge (religion) (Int), Listen (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), Spot (Wis) and Tumble (Dex).
The Vril Knight is automatically competent with the Protect skill.
Skill Points at 1st Level
(2 + Int modifier) ×4.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency
Vril Knights are proficient with all simple, personal and advanced firearms. Vril Knights are not proficient with any armor or shields.
Aura of Good
The power of a Vril Knight’s aura of good (see the detect good spell) is equal to her Vril Knight level.
Detect Evil
At will, a Vril Knight can use detect evil, as the spell.
Purity of Body
A Vril Knight gains immunity to all diseases except for supernatural and magical diseases.
Diamond Soul
A Vril Knight gains spell resistance equal to her current Vril Knight level + 10. In order to affect the Vril Knight with a spell, a spellcaster must get a result on a caster level check (1d20 + caster level) that equals or exceeds the Vril Knight’s spell resistance.
Dodge
Vril Knights gain Dodge as bonus feat.
Evasion
If a Vril Knight makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, she instead takes no damage.
Weapon Focus (Beam Sword)
A Vril Knight gains Weapon Focus (beam sword) as a bonus feat.
AC Bonus
When unarmored and unencumbered, the Vril Knight adds her Wisdom bonus (if any) to her AC. In addition, a Vril Knight gains a +1 bonus to AC at 5th level. This bonus increases by 1 for every five Vril Knight levels thereafter (+2 at 10th, +3 at 15th, and +4 at 20th level).
Favored Enemy
As ranger; may only select aberrations, construct, humanoid (reptilian), monstrous humanoids, evil outsiders, undead or vermin.
The following abilities cost a magic point, which the Vril Knight can restore from resting in a tavern.
Smite Evil
A Vril Knight may attempt to smite evil with one normal melee attack. She adds her Charisma bonus (if any) to her attack roll and deals an extra points of damage per Vril Knight level. If the Vril Knight accidentally smites a creature that is not evil, the smite has no effect, but the ability still uses a magic point.
Spells
Beginning at 4th level, a Vril Knight gains the ability to cast a small number of divine spells, which are drawn from the Vril Knight spell list. A Vril Knight must choose and prepare her spells in advance.
To prepare or cast a spell, a Vril Knight must have a Wisdom score equal to at least 10 + the spell level. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a Vril Knight’s spell is 10 + the spell level + the Vril Knight’s Wisdom modifier.
Like other spellcasters, a Vril Knight can cast only a certain number of spells of each spell level per day. In addition, she receives bonus spells per day if she has a high Wisdom score.
A Vril Knight prepares and casts spells the way a cleric does. A Vril Knight may prepare and cast any spell on the Vril Knight spell list, provided that she can cast spells of that level, but she must choose which spells to prepare during her daily meditation.
