Class Skills
The knight’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Climb (Str), Diplomacy (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (history, nobility & royalty), Intimidate (Cha), Perform (keyboard, oratory, string, wind, sing), Sense Motive (Wis) and Swim (Str).
The knight is automatically competent with the Protect and Ride skills.

Class Features
Weapon and Armor Proficiency
A knight is proficient with all simple and martial weapons and with all armor (heavy, medium, and light) and shields (including tower shields).
Mounted Combat
A knight gains the feat Mounted Combat.
Special Mount
A knight gains the service of an unusually intelligent, strong, and loyal steed to serve her in her crusade. This mount is a heavy warhorse (for a Medium knight) or a warpony (for a Small knight). At 7th level, the knight gains the loyalty of a hippogriff.

Like the ranger's class ability.
Challenge
Once per day, a knight can challenge a foe to combat. As a swift action, the knight chooses one target within sight to challenge. The knight’s melee attacks deal extra damage whenever the attacks are made against the target of his challenge. This extra damage is equal to the knight’s level.
Challenging a foe requires much of the knight’s concentration. The knight takes a –2 penalty to his Armor Class, except against attacks made by the target of his challenge.
Damage Reduction
Subtract 1 from the damage the knight takes each time he is dealt damage from a weapon or a natural attack. At 7th level, this damage reduction rises by 1 point. Damage reduction can reduce damage to 0 but not below 0
