Pictures

The old pictures included were received from Magnhild Sørlie and Aud Listhaug McKernan. Magnhild and her husband Jon live in Stavanger. Aud lives summers at Mevik on the Geiranger fjord which is a part of the Lindseth farm where Knut came from, and winters in her home at San Clemente, California.

Anna, Ranveig, Serine and Malene (picture from Magnhild Sørlie); she resent this to Andrea in 2025 with the following description: On the left is Ranveig who lived in Husnes and had several children; Next is Jensine who lived in Ølen and was grandmother of Anna, and several others; Next is Grandma Nelson's mother Barbro Serin; On the right is Magnhild's grandmother, Malene (1865-1842) married to Lars Espeland.

Tollef married a Norwegian woman and moved to Lee, Illinois. There they died, but had several children.

Kari lived in Chicago and married a Norwegian there. Died in 1902, in Chicago.

Magnhild's father Kasper who was the youngest and had two children: Magnhild and her sister Kari Eirin who also lives in Stavanger

- Håvard Sørlie & his wife Aud Irene Skår with children Christian (17) and Camilla (19).

- Elin & Sven Skjørestad with daughters Ranveig and Kristine (with daughters Alma & Hannah)

- another daughter who died a couple of years ago from cancer.

Kari Eirin has two sons, and the youngest, Kjell Eivind, was with Håvard together with Ida, the youngest daughter, five years old.

Next is Lauritz (born 1899). He lived in Chicago, married Borghild; they had a son Larry. Lauritz and Broghild died in Chicago. Larry (born 1945) married Janet and have three children. Larry has died in Chicago. Janet now lives in Texas. The son lives in Switzerland and the two daughters live in Texas (one daughter Kari is a photographer and lives near Dallas)

In the middle is Ranveig. She also lived in Oslo. Didn't get married, but Magnhild says she was the best aunt we ever had.
Next is Berge. He lived in Oslo, was married and had two sons
On the right is the eldest, Tørres Randolf. He ran the farm in Espeland, had a daughter Kristine and whose son Tørres Randolf who was at Håvard's house (July 2025) with his fiancé
