LIVIE Tablet - HEPATO-CORRECTIVE, HEPATO-PROTECTIVE

LIVIE Tablet is a scientific combination of multi-action ayurvedic drugs that reinforce and protect the liver, and correct its dysfunction.

INGREDIENTS & ACTIONS

LIVIE Tablet contains: Bhumi-amalaki (Phyllanthus niruri) ext. 300 mg, Sharpunkha (Tephrosia purpurea) ext. 250 mg, and Kakamachi (Solanum nigrum) ext. 250 mg.

Ingredients in LIVIE Tablet have been reported to - (1) Protect the liver and correct its raised enzymes, etc; (2) Inhibit proliferation of Hepatitis B virus and HIV; (3) Lower raised total cholesterol and triglycerides; (4) Lower raised blood sugar; (5) Lower raised blood pressure; (6) Lower raised serum uric acid; and (7) Eliminate/dissolve urinary calculi. Bhumi-amalaki has been reported to protect the liver and reduce SGPT, alkaline phosphatase, lipid peroxidation, superoxidase dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione-S-transferase (GST) levels; be effective against Hepatitis B and HIV; lower total cholesterol and triglycerides; lower raised blood sugar; lower raised blood pressure; lower raised serum uric acid, and eliminate/dissolve urinary calculi. Sharpunkha has been reported to possess anti-hyperlipidemic and hepatoprotective activity. Kakamachi has been reported to possess hepato-protective, anti-tumor, cytostatic, anti-convulsant, anti-ulcerogenic and anti-inflammatory effects.

INDICATIONS

LIVIE Tablet is indicated as an adjunct in the management of-

Hepatitis (Kamala) – Viral hepatitis (A, B, and C) and Drug-induced hepatitis,corona with abnormal increase in the hepatic enzymes and bilirubin in the blood;

Cholecystitis (Pittashaya-shotha) & Cholelithiasis (Pitta-ashmari);

Obesity (Sthaulya, Medoroga);

Dyslipidemia (Medo-dushti) – Raised total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides in the blood;

Diabetes Type II (Madhumeha) – Along with hypoglycemic therapy;

Gout (Vata-rakta) – Along with dietary control;

Hypertension (Vyana-vaishamya) - Along with anti-hypertensives;

Urinary calculi (Mutra-ashmari) - Along with urinary alkalizers.

Ingredients in LIVIE Tablet act as:

• Correct liver disorders & reinforces liver functions ‐ lowers raised bilirubin, and liver enzymes (SGOT, SGPT, GGTP, alkaline phosphatase), restores SOD, CAT, GST to normal level (yakrid‐balya).

• Correct renal disorders & reinforces renal functions ‐ corrects its dysfunction, increases urine production, dissolves urinary stones (vrikka‐balya)

• Correct metabolic disorders & reinforces metabolic functions – lipids, blood sugar, blood pressure (dhatvagni-balya)

• Immuno‐modulator (ojasya)

• Anti‐viral (vishanu‐hara) including hepatitis B and HIV

Ingredients:

Bhumiamlaki 250 mg

Kakamachi ext 150 mg

Sharpunkha ext 100 mg

Dosage:

• Adults: 1 tab thrice a day. Taper off on improvement

• Children (6‐9): 1⁄4‐ 1⁄2 of the adult dose, in crushed form.

• To be taken just after meals.

Precautions:

Avoid in pregnancy. Not to be used along with anticoagulant drugs and in bleeding disorders. Regular BT, CT, PT is must after regular intervals. In case of prolonged BT, CT, PT, or any signs of bleeding, stop the drug, and manage accordingly.
