Welcome to Special Events 2026!

The Double Eagle Golf Club will have special events through the year including Victorian Greek Golf Callenge and social events such as dinners and Trivia nights.

Victorian Greek Club Challenge

This is an important event on the Greek golf club calendar, and we want to strongly support it, as we have participated every year since 2006. DEGC has been allocated 20 spots. The day includes golf, lunch, and prizes.

Last year, there were some scoring issues which we are aiming to resolve this year.

The plan is:

¨     Members with an individual MiScore licence will use MiScore for scoring.

¨     All other players will use traditional scorecards.

At least two other Greek clubs already use MiScore. While DEGC is not ready to adopt MiScore as a club-wide solution due to cost and functionality, however, individual licences are available for $20 per year, so anyone that want to use it can sign up and use it for the Hellenic if you wish.

Social Events

Hello DEGC members, we have discussed the social activities for 2026 and early 2027. We have decided to do a gala event for early 2027 as part of our 40th anniversary celebration in 2027.

It is early days, but here are the activities and potential dates from the Social Club committee:

1. Trivia night: 20th or 27th June 2026

2. Restaurant night: date TBA

3. Winery Saturday afternoon: 18th October 2026

4. Gala 40th anniversary event: March 2027
