The Rich River trip for 2024 had 24 members travel to Echuca on the weekend of 19-21 April 2024.
The team event was Treasurer's (Kosta Nikakis & Jim Karakoussis) against the Presidents's (John Marinopoulos & John Kakouros) teams. The cup result saw a 14 to 10 win to the President's team. Congratulations John Marinopoulos and John Kakouros and the President's team on the win. (See individual matches below).
The DEGC events
A439 (Vic Open) was won by Bill Papapetrou on 37 Stableford point for his first win at the club followed by Chris Marinopoulos on 34 points.
B440 Team Ambrose was won by Harry Gianasmidis & George Bourozikas with a nets score of 69 (3 under par).
The Most Valuable player was George Bourozikas on 82% efficiency with combine stableford points of 72 and winning both his games for the Treasurer's team. The best President's player was Connor Marinopoulos with 81% effciency (71 stableford with 2 wins).

The next two games are at on the interstate trip to Rich River. They are:
Day 1 Saturday 20/4/24 – Event A439 – Vic Open is an Individual Stableford plus matchplay, played on the West Course with a SLOPE of 114, PAR = 71, & SSR = 69) from 10:20 AM, for 22 Championship points
Day 2 Sunday 21/4/24 – Event B440 – Pairs Stableford Team event played on East Course with a SLOPE of 120, PAR = 72 & SSR = 70) from 8:45 AM for 12 Team points
In addition we are playing the Presidents v Treasurers format between two teams. The teams are indicated:
Day 1 - The Treasurer’s team will wear Dark Blue (current DEGC 35th Anniversary dark blue shirt is preferred) & the President’s team will wear Light Blue (previous DEGC 30th Anniversary light blue shirt is preferred).
Day 2 - The Treasurer’s team will wear White & the President’s team will wear Black.
