Theatre Etiquette

- Arrive at the theatre early. You should plan to be there about 20 minutes before the performance begins. This will ensure that you're not late.

-Turn off all electronic devices immediately. This includes cell phones and pagers. If something does ring, silence it right away but don't answer it.

-Keep your feet on the floor at all times. Don't put them on the seat in front of you.

-Be considerate of those around you by keeping quiet. Avoid talking to your neighbor during the performance. Also, don't hum or sing along.

-Cheer enthusiastically by clapping. Don't whistle or shout

-Slowly unwrap cough suppressants during a loud portion of the program. That way, the wrapper noise doesn't disturb your neighbors.

-Walk calmly to the exits following the performance. Making a mad dash to the door during the curtain call is an insult to the actors.
