I am an environmental economist who specializes in the management of water resources. My research agenda focuses on the costs, benefits, and distributional consequences of regulatory and economic actions that influence surface and drinking water quality in the United States. As part of this work, I utilize econometric methods and integrated assessment models to measure the social costs of water pollution. A growing body of my research explores water resource challenges in other countries, including Brazil and India. I also contribute to the non-market valuation literature related to climate change and air pollution.Â
