From diagrams by Andrew Loomis (1892–1959)

The slides for the class on the 3rd of June can be downloaded as a zip file at the bottom of this page. CLICK THE RED DOWNLOAD ARROW AT THE RIGHT. Most of the diagrams are taken from these two books:

ADVERTISEMENTS!:

1. If you have any more questions about perspective over the next few weeks, please see me at Life Drawing at 3-6 pm on Wednesday June 5th/12th/19th. (All welcome as usual - this term we're spending part of each class focusing on drawing heads).

2. Please take a look at my website on colour for painters:

3. The National Art School public programs short courses are among the very few adult art classes in Sydney that can be attended by school-age students. I'm scheduled to teach Anatomy for Life Drawing in the week-long Winter School (July 1-5) and a Tuesday evening course in Oil Painting with Colour and Light beginning July 16th, and there are many other courses listed on the NAS website. These courses can fill quickly, and at other times can be cancelled because not enough enrollments come in in time, so either way it's important to book as early as possible.
