I discovered my passion for sim-racing at the age of 10, with a game running on an old 80486: Grand Prix Circuit (by Accolade).
Years later, Monaco Grand Prix Racing Simulation 2 became the first title that really brought realism and online competition. I started using a steering wheel and pedals, but at that time, my 28.8K modem wasnβt quite ready for online racing!
In June 2003, EA F1 Challenge 99-02 changed everything: better physics, graphics, online play, and official F1 licensing.
Leagues started to form, and after a year of practice, I made my first ever F1 online race - on the Chinese track.
For five seasons, I competed in one of the top online F1 leagues - Formula-SimRacing.
Races were streamed live with commentators, prizes were offered, and sponsors began to appear.
I raced with rFactor, the benchmark simulator of its time.
As the league became even more competitive in 2008β2009, I had less time to dedicate and eventually stepped back from the championship.
When iRacing launched in 2008, I joined early but only raced occasionally. After my Logitech G27 broke, sim-racing went on pause for a while.
In 2020, I bought a Logitech G29 and rejoined iRacing.
With advice from an old FSR teammate, Joakim Bengtsson, I joined the Radical community - and the passion came back stronger than ever.
I upgraded my setup with a Playseat Trophy and a Simagic wheel + pedals.
Due to space limits, I race in front of my TV - but that doesnβt stop me from competing!
I currently race in the Radical series (official + private league), as well as in official Dallara F3 and Super Formula Lights championships.
