Controversy in Relationship to Human Culture

The reader should be aware that this subject matter covers many controversial aspects of human existence. This work deconstructs the entire human condition, spanning the indifferent universe, natural selection, artificial selection, liberty, freedom, democracy, religion, politics, and economics. If you prefer to never speak of religion and politics in public, then this development of political philosophy may lie outside your comfort zone. Alternatively, reading such material may be the most liberating, enlightening, and empowering experience of your life – it certainly has been for me – even though I now struggle with this knowledge while witnessing global warming encroach.

Controversy in Relationship to Natural Selection

This development of political philosophy deconstructs the entire human condition, and reveals the human condition as the product of “mindless” natural selection producing an equally “brain-dead” product, meaning ubiquitous tribalism is instinctual, and our eusocial nature follows the puppet-master of tribalism unconsciously. Please don’t be offended; I’m not trying to insult any individuals or group’s intelligence, I’m trying to make an important and challenging point that identifies a major liability for Homo sapiens so that we can design a solution. In addition, I make several “politically incorrect”, sensationalist, and/or important comparisons between biology such as barnacles, molds, fish, apes, ants, bees, and Homo neanderthalensis in relationship to Homo sapiens, which many might find shocking and disturbing, so fair warning as they say.

Contributing a Different Perspective

This effort addresses the “Biological Model” component of a larger work, which identifies three other System Models: the “Metaphysical Justice Model”, the “Cognitive Model”, and the “Digitalization Model”. Because this effort is a component of a larger work, these other concepts are not fully explained; nevertheless this analysis of the “Biological Model” produces sufficient analysis to stand on its own.

Consistent with “fix it fast now”* male psychology, my experience has been that many want to jump straight to the solution phase. Meanwhile, the “Biological Model” is about identifying “First Causes” and “initial conditions”, and therefore about problems more than solutions. It should be noted therefore, that this effort doesn’t focus on the solution phase of the philosophy, which is addressed more so in the “Cognitive Model” and “Digitalization Model”. Nevertheless, this analysis of the “Biological Model” does identify some basic aspects of the solution phase, such as: defining our institutions through natural explanations and prioritized relationships in unification with a physics-governed environment, including producing two economies, which is integrated with reverse engineering Spaceship Earth to achieve universal ethics that provide for universal physical human needs.

The complete effort identifies the thesis of “Mechanical-Social Integration” and the proposed new hybrid natural-social science of “Physiosociobiology”, including the progressive political philosophy of “Universalism”, the process of “Reverse Engineering” to identify “Universal Ethics”, and new government through the “Democracy of Science”.

In addition, I write assumptive of certain cosmological and biological conditions, or determinisms. Cosmologically, such conditions identify the Big Bang indifferent universe and expanding cosmological model, the initial conditions of physics and Newtonian mechanics, and connectedly, physics-governed climate change and global warming. Biologically, they include evolutionary biology identifying E. O. Wilson’s “multi-level selection” and Mark Pagel’s “cultural survival vehicles”, which together encompass eusociality, multilevel selection, and tribalism. Each of these cosmological and biological “initial conditions” is supported with sufficient evidence to provide working theories. After exposure to E. O. Wilson’s “multi-level selection” and Mark Pagel’s “cultural survival vehicles”, I synthesized eusociality, multilevel selection, and tribalism with atheism and eco-socialism. Of course, the “Biological Model” produces my own unique analysis, and in respect of others proprietary contributions, my analysis shouldn’t be conflated with those I draw influence from.

It is intuitive to me that a science-based individual would synthesize cosmological and biological determinism with atheism and eco-socialism. Nevertheless, many don’t share this intuition. Presumably, such individuals consider it wiser to accommodate falsehood, exploitation, and physical damage, simply because natural selection produced such circumstance, rather than fix it with artificial selection and logic. My opinion is that evolutionary biologists are overly fond of the process of natural selection; meanwhile, I remain rather critical of the process, so I contribute a different perspective.

In addition, the hypocrisy that “breaks my camel’s back” is that we use immensely subjective top-down social design protocols to enable falsehood, exploitation, and physical damage, and then call this self-imposed condition “the way the world works”. Considering that such consequence has produced social and economic horror for the multitude, including global warming, I have no problem using objective top-down social design protocols to defeat falsehood, exploitation, and physical damage, and then calling that superior new product the way the world works. Some may still want to demonize this effort as “bloody politics”. Nevertheless, this effort is accurately identified as designing a solution to a human condition that causes social and economic horror for the multitude, including global warming.

The “Behavioral” and “Naturalist” Schools

Currently, two schools of thought are competing in social science; the traditional “behavioral” school that most subscribe to, and the new emerging “naturalist” school being promoted by evolutionary biologists like E. O. Wilson, which is gaining traction.

To be clear, my work follows the naturalist school, which identifies vast biological determinism through eusociality, multilevel selection, and tribalism to determine the human condition, spanning church-state construction to psychology. In this view, most observations of the behavioral school identify “symptoms” that are caused by the biological determinisms of eusociality, multilevel selection, and tribalism.

For example, I don’t endorse predicating a social design solution for Homo sapiens on an exhaustive dissection of the human mind, because our minds clearly serve the biological determinisms of eusociality, multilevel selection, and tribalism, where with tribalism, we already understand sufficiently to produce a working solution. In addition, even though I identify the influence of natural selection to produce biological determinism, I frequently don’t endorse following this determinism, and instead pioneering a new way forward through artificial selection and logic.

Cultural Survival Vehicles

In “Wired for Culture: Origins of the Human Social Mind”, Mark Pagel’s “cultural survival vehicles” identifies the profound influence of natural selection on human culture. The premise of “cultural survival vehicles” is that since natural selection produced us, it is logical that our cultures evolved to promote our survival. So Pagel observes the roles of culture, and finds similarities between cultures to identify common denominators.

This seems like a good idea, but as I said above, most observations of the behavioral school identify symptoms that are caused by the biological determinism of eusociality, multilevel selection, and tribalism. Consequently, instead of endorsing the roles of culture through a market-based interpretation, including through specific occupations that serve tribal church-state national exceptionalism, I identify that ubiquitous human tribalism simply produces conservative interpretations of institutions, specifically militarism, religion, politics, economics, and culture, and that the roles of culture serve these conservative interpretations. This insight about the roles of culture serving conservative interpretations of institutions produced by the common denominator of ubiquitous human tribalism constitutes one of my contributions to “gene/culture theory”.

An Important Update: Steady-State Economics, the Entropy Cycle, and “The Slavery Equation”

One of the themes in this book is the relationship between biology and physics. At a fundamental level, human tribalism is determined by a territorial radius in relationship to acquiring limiting resources. These radii represent physical determinisms that tribalism responds to. In addition, even though tribes can expand their radii with work animals and technology, the biological determinisms of tribalism remain the same while expanding from tribes to chiefdoms to states.

Human tribalism determined by a territorial radius in relationship to acquiring limiting resources benefits from work animals and technology to expand the radius, where typically the bigger the tribe, the better off the people are in the evolutionary arms race against other tribes. This situation produces a “play or die” biological determinism, which we instinctively serve, including demonstrate little ability to step outside of through intellectual ability to produce a superior human condition.

The problem is, natural selection is fine with this adaptation, but governing physics is not. Eusociality and tribalism are intrinsically growth-oriented processes, meanwhile resources remain scarce, limiting if renewable, and ultimately finite. Governing physics subjects all matter, energy, and biological processes to the laws of thermodynamics, namely “the entropy cycle”, which is: “Low-Entropy Matter/Energy In, and High-Entropy Matter/Energy Out”. Because of this, biological processes spanning natural selection to human tribalism are subject to the conservation of energy. Consequently, “biological economists” such as Herman E. Daley in “Economics, Ecology, Ethics: Essays Toward a Steady-State Economy”, and Kenneth Boulding in “The Coming Economics of Spaceship Earth”, have identified the need to regulate growth, and conserve resources. This understanding is counterintuitive to the evolutionary arms race of human tribalism, which is why status quo politics and economics will never integrate our species in sustainable unification with the physics-governed natural environment.

The evolutionary arms race of human tribalism may have even deeper causality, however. The issue of human tribalism determined by a territorial radius that benefits from work animals and technology to expand the radius, where typically the bigger the tribe the better off the people are in the evolutionary arms race against other tribes, shares another parallel in the animal world, that of ants. Ant colonies represent a clear parallel to human tribalism, where colonies are also determined by a territorial radius that benefits from work animals and technology to expand the radius, where typically the bigger the colony the better off the ants are in the evolutionary arms race against other ant colonies. So, what are the “work animals and technology” that expand the ant colony radius, and benefit ants? Well, ant colonies demonstrate the same behavior as human tribalism does in raiding, warring, and the taking of slaves, where the “work animals and technology” are ant slaves and the specializations of scouts and a warrior class.

The evolutionary arms race may explain this remarkably identical behavior between vastly disparate species, but it is possible that a physics governed quality such as the entropy cycle (Low-Entropy Matter/Energy In, and High-Entropy Matter/Energy Out) also influences this behavior. I suggest that the acquisition of slaves allows social species both human and ant to perform additional evolutionary specialization that promotes their survival (explained further in the text). Furthermore, I suggest that the “slavery equation” (entropy cycle) may apply to church-state function, the division of labor, disparity in wealth, and wage slavery, even scientific and professional specialization.

Consequently, I believe Herman E. Daley’s Steady-State Economics model has effectively already identified the mathematics of the “slavery equation”. The mathematics of thermodynamics, the conservation of energy, and entropy applies to all physical systems, including biology. Biology must consume Low-Entropy Matter/Energy that by default produces High-Entropy Matter/Energy output as a result. This is the equation/situation that biology must negotiate, and it is the equation/situation that causes slavery to be an effective survival strategy for social species, both insect and otherwise.

I have yet to fully integrate this understanding in the main text, but even this simple demonstration seems adequate to establish the theoretical and quantifiable validity of “the slavery equation”. The mathematics of thermodynamics, the conservation of energy, and entropy, which are the mathematics of all physical systems, including biology, are well-known and quantifiable. Low-Entropy Matter/Energy In, and High-Entropy Matter/Energy Out, provides a compelling parsimonious explanation for why biological species as disparate as ants and hominids both demonstrate the same behavior of militarism and slavery (class systems), and a physics-governed reason why ant colonies and human tribalism are both growth-oriented through consumption of Low-Entropy Matter/Energy, which produces and encourages specialization through militarism and slavery.

This effort should be considered state-of-the-art in my development of social science and philosophy.

Positivism Applied to Human Social Design

“Men are not allowed to think freely about chemistry and biology, so why should they be allowed to think freely about political philosophy”, Auguste Comte 1798-1857.

Carry the equation of social science through reductionism one step further to physics, and environmental determinism provides a standard candle for Homo sapiens to achieve social and environmental sustainability in the indifferent universe.

It is apparent that the origins of the human condition through eusociality and tribalism required defense, and therefore tribal existence has escalated from individual hunter/warriors to an institutionalized military. Tribalism is intrinsically militaristic, including “paranoid” and “conservative”. It is reasonable to assume that a larger military enabled tribal survival, which has produced a uniformity of militaristic tribalism escalating from tribes to chiefdoms to states, where church-state exceptionalism promotes escalation resulting in Imperialism and Super-colony Empire*. The church-state insists that every ant-human remains busy and contributes straw to their tribal anthill, but I find this forced labor disgusting and counterproductive, i.e. manmade yet physics-governed global warming. The modern state is clearly a product of eusocial/tribal determinisms to produce military, church, and state, including competitive economics and ethics, as one interconnected cultural entity, i.e. our “cultural survival vehicles”* and “The Social Conquest of Earth”*.

The need for an institutionalized military however, including institutionalized religion and competitive economics, in point of fact evaporates when we enable eusociality through superior social design absent from tribalism without reason to produce ubiquitous church-state exceptionalism without reason. I am extremely pleased that my studies allow me to identify this natural selection-determined circumstance, eusocial/tribal biological situation, and cognitive social design solution through artificial selection and logic. Obviously, natural selection produces competitiveness; however, how sentient intelligent Homo sapiens decide to manage competitiveness can certainly occur through superior social design absent from tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason. Meanwhile, virtually every institution evolves to enable eusocial/tribal defense in some capacity, which is exactly what we would expect to see “life and death” natural selection producing*.

The Ethics of Tribalism without Reason

In addition to identifying the biology of tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason as the true cause of our problems - we also consider global warming an ethical issue - and therefore changing our ethics is necessary in solution. Specifically, we will need to design a new ethic that replaces the very forces of natural selection to produce tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason, with a manmade meme determined through intelligence, science, and wisdom to produce objective sustainable universal ethics*. Reductionism to physics identifies achieving objective universal ethics through reverse engineering Spaceship Earth to satisfy universal physical human needs in a sustainable manner.

“Natural selection” can then operate through sexual selection that has first been made sustainable through reverse engineering a sustainable Spaceship Earth, and consequently sexual selection no longer burns the world down serving tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason*. This also identifies a top-down solution provided by science that will be in vast conflict with the status quo determined by mindless natural selection to produce equally “brain-dead” instinctual tribalism. Clearly, primitive tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason is currently obsolete. Manmade yet physics-governed global warming identifies that the obsolete biological determinisms of tribalism without reason must now be replaced with a relevant sustainable meme, or “ethic”, i.e. social science through reductionism to physics, and the progressive political philosophy of Universalism.

“The Ten Commandments” and “The Seven Deadly Sins” are good examples of religious ethics that attempt to design tribal unity and success*. These ethics however, aren’t quantifiable (i.e. philosophical generalizations), they are designed to enable tribalism, and they were developed in response to an agrarian mode of production. Consequently, religious ethics subject to these liabilities are no longer applicable to designing sustainable global technological eusociality. The fact that many cannot objectify having this conversation and a debate provides evidence of the determinism of tribalism without reason, i.e. the determinism of our particular “cultural survival vehicle”. Alternatively stated, when natural selection-determined tribalism ubiquitously produces religion, we are unilaterally conflicted in our ability to quantify the fact that natural selection produces subjective damaging falsehood, including unilaterally conflicted in our ability to quantify an objective truthful solution.

Political ethics (in America) identifies democracy and capitalism to serve the philosophical generalizations of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”, “self-evident truths”, and “inalienable rights”, including “freedom of speech”. These ethics however, also aren’t quantifiable, they are also designed to enable tribalism, and they were also developed in response to an agrarian mode of production. In an age of quantifiable social science, these philosophical generalizations are identified to once again enable tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason responding to an agrarian mode of production.

Serving these biological determinisms through philosophical generalizations doesn’t speak well for considering “citizen wisdom without knowledge” an integral part of harmony in democracy. Consequently, American-style ethics are no longer applicable to designing sustainable global technological eusociality. The fact that many cannot objectify having this conversation and a debate provides evidence of the determinism of tribalism without reason, i.e. the determinism of our particular “cultural survival vehicle”. Alternatively stated, when natural selection produces tribalism without reason and ubiquitous church-state exceptionalism without reason, we are unilaterally conflicted in our ability to quantify the fact that natural selection produces subjective damaging falsehood, including unilaterally conflicted in our ability to quantify an objective truthful solution.

Currently, economic ethics assert a wide variety of subjective behavior:

• Working hard, independence, and self-sufficiency. (Unfortunately, these ethics largely operate in direct conflict with our evolution through tribal hunting-gathering to enable the entire tribe, including that tribal existence typically conserves energy and resources, including by sharing. In addition, in no way does individual specialization in response to scientific reductionism diminish the group-level selection requirements of “biology with technology” in relationship to the requirements of governing physics, for example to overcome manmade yet physics-governed global warming.)

• Self-sacrifice during periods of “national exceptionalism” (i.e. recessions, depressions, and war, caused by church-state exceptionalism without reason, i.e. “Theo-conservative trickledown Reaganomics”*).

• Blaming others poverty on being lazy, stupid, and religiously defined evil.

• Achieving prosperity by building a successful covenant with god.

• Economic libertarianism attempts to provide a secular interpretation of blaming others poverty on being lazy, stupid, and religiously defined evil.

Clearly, the glorified individual specialization, innovation, and exchange of capitalism largely operate in direct conflict with our evolution through tribal hunting-gathering to enable the entire tribe. Consequently, this contradiction produces problematic aggressive, divisive, mystic, and abandonment reasoning and psychology leading to both the self and society falsely blaming, exploiting, and punishing the individual for institutional problems caused by poor social design.

For example, individual specialization in response to scientific reductionism produces scientists and professionals that identify with disparity in wealth through economic libertarianism as their just reward for such specialization. Consequently, individual specialization in response to scientific reductionism to produce scientists and professionals instinctually gravitates to producing a “techno-fix”, rather than a “socio-fix” that affects their ability to disparity in wealth. Nevertheless, such individual specialization in response to scientific reductionism doesn’t affect the group-level selection of “biology with technology” in relationship to the requirements of governing physics, for example to overcome manmade yet physics-governed global warming. Moreover, asserting that nobody would become a scientist or professional in absence of disparity in wealth is false, as Einstein and many other scientists functioned in poverty and obscurity, and to make this assertion in point of fact accuses Homo sapiens entire species of being secularly-defined lazy, stupid, and evil.

The direct conflict capitalism causes society is similar to the direct conflict science causes society; however - science can design a solution to this conflict where capitalism exacerbates it and cannot - and the two institutions should never be unreasonably conflated. Unfortunately, capitalism designs a schism between actions that enable individual-level selection, and actions that enable group-level selection. I.e., disparity in wealth and concentration of power protects wealthy individuals, corporations, and the church-state - especially where the church-state functions by turning money, poverty, and falsehood into violence - while citizens are forced to exist in class and generational poverty subject to sickness, abuse, depression, substance abuse, and premature death. Meanwhile, the multitude witnesses church-state exceptionalism without reason producing premature global warming extinction for everyone. Consider, for example, the slaves of Egypt building “anthill” pyramids for ultra-primitive church-state exceptionalism, which stand as monuments to mans ignorant unsustainable biological determinisms, i.e. church-state empires that always fail and end.

Ladies and gentlemen, “Hell” is on Earth, not under it; wage-slaves around the world are now committing suicide rather than practice the glorified individual specialization, innovation, and exchange through “The Wealth of Nations” and “Theo-conservative trickledown Reaganomics” that serve church-state exceptionalism without reason. Is that “the fire”* we want to keep alive on Earth; a fire that burns people alive to enable “The Wealth of Nations” through church-state exceptionalism without reason, including causes global warming?

Let’s identify a distinction in this biological and cognitive analysis of ethics, between the biology of eusociality (which natural circumstance requires no solution because it represents a male, female, and offspring attempting to survive together rather than individually), and the biology/social design of tribalism (identified by sociobiology and gene-culture theory) that diminishes the natural drama of eusociality into tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason to produce manmade yet physics-governed global warming, which does require a solution (addressed by physiosociobiology).

Alternatively, instead of mindless natural selection diminishing Homo sapiens into brain-dead instinctual tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason, science-based social design could target and elevate the natural drama of eusociality to achieve a truthful sustainable Scientific Utopia. Currently, if natural selection and/or man are involved with producing falsehood - “life must find a way” - and produce a solution consistent with manmade yet physics-governed global warming, which circumstance moves science from “studying biology” (i.e. sociobiology) to “managing biology” (i.e. physiosociobiology).

Consequently, the study of physiosociobiology is compelled to produce a matching objective political philosophy, i.e. Universalism. Our shift in ethics must include using science in a predictive manner to produce sustainable solutions. Predictive applications of science to social design affects and redefines the institutions of deism, freedom of speech, liberty, freedom, democracy, and economics, which must now be determined in unification with governing physics. Science after all, relies on reductionism to physics to make sense of every physical system in the entire universe.

Like nearly all institutions, economics are designed to enable tribalism, so the ethics of economics are highly integrated with the institutions of tribalism without reason, spanning militarism, religion, competitive ideologies, and ethics, to produce ubiquitous church-state exceptionalism without reason. Examples include “The Wealth of Nations” (tribes), religio-economic “Theo-conservative trickledown Reaganomics”, and “the Family on C Street”, including the “objectivism” of economic libertarianism, which nonetheless serves tribalism without reason.

Consequently, economic ethics are highly integrated with religious ethics, including highly integrated with ethics regarding tribal defense, and competitive ideologies such as sports, games, and capitalism that promotes tribalism by trading aggressively in the acquisition of limiting resources. Economic ethics are also highly integrated with the attributes of individual-level selection and group-level selection both working together and exploiting each other while enabling (or compromising) the function of tribalism. The fact that many cannot objectify having this conversation and a debate provides evidence of the determinism of tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason, i.e. the determinism of our particular “cultural survival vehicle”.

Let’s make another distinction here, between the self-interested attributes of individual-level selection and the “magnanimous” attributes of group-level selection both working together and exploiting each other. This circumstance spans individual-level selection serving church-state exceptionalism without reason, secular interpretations of “gaming the system”, and individual-level selection integrating with the attributes of group-level selection to identify group-level selection exploiting the individual, which also serves church-state exceptionalism without reason. Alternatively stated, both individual-level selection and group-level selection each exploit the other while serving tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason, in some capacity. Moreover, when determined by “biology with technology” this relationship is entirely dysfunctional, demonstrated by social, political, and economic polarization producing paralyzed government, disparity in wealth, building more and more prisons, and manmade global warming.

National Exceptionalism vs. Truth and Sustainability

The diversity of political ideologies has acted consistent with the biological determinism of tribalism*, where religion is ubiquitous to tribalism to bind a tribe in unity and defeat the territorial enemy, including perform other utilitarian functions of eusociality and tribalism, which produces a uniformity of church-state systems. Consequently, militarism, religion, politics, and economics have served tribalism without reason, which has produced the genetic expansion and territorial aggression of church-state exceptionalism without reason. Clearly, “natural selection” and “reason” are not synonymous; meanwhile, natural selection is “perfectly happy" with how our species was produced*.

This work identifies that nearly all of our church-state actions through “national exceptionalism” represents ultra-primitive tribalism without reason to produce ubiquitous church-state exceptionalism without reason as the cause of needless damaging competition, aggressive trading, and war, including needless damaging production and consumption, and of course global warming. Who are we competing with, over what? An intergalactic traveler accustomed to negotiating the determinism of physics might identify that Homo sapiens are competing with ourselves over nothing, except the perverse ability to produce global warming and premature extinction. Demonstratively, we are competing with our own species over nothing except the ability to achieve daily function made exponentially problematic while compromised by mindlessly following the determinisms of ultra-primitive tribalism without reason, culminating like a stupid-sick practical cosmic joke in global warming.

When people start coming to terms with “tribalism without reason” as First Cause for our species idiosyncratic liabilities, shortcomings, and global warming problem - like a primitive evolutionary child demonstrating the glimmers of reason and wisdom - we should all be exquisitely embarrassed, and then change our behavior. Through tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason however, our species has acted like every tribe represented mans last best hope for survival, while the truth is there’s planet enough for everyone if we manage ourselves prudently with reason.

The theoretical solution would therefore require eliminating any instinctual tribal fear and hatred for other tribes, i.e. eliminating racism and tribal/national/church-state exceptionalism. Maybe there’s a little blue psychopharmacology pill that can fix obsolete damaging instincts, including design reason with wisdom. Meanwhile, since genetically determined instincts make the aforementioned solution impossible, the real solution requires managing society with top-down science-based social design protocols. We have, after all, already been managing society with “top-down”* social design protocols for quite some time, for example with a false damaging unscientific unregulated definition of liberty that enables religion, growth-model laissez faire capitalism on a finite planet, and the rule of law, serving a vastly subjective false damaging democracy. Unfortunately, these institutions simply enable ultra-primitive tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason. Nevertheless, if man integrated the rule of law with science-based social design protocols*, Homo sapiens could achieve a Scientific Utopia in a timely manner that defeats global warming.

The problem of overcoming primitive obsolete biological determinisms is a serious one for a technological species that is negatively impacting the entire planetary ecosystem, and the lack of reason in our biological evolution and corresponding social design (gene-culture determinism) is at the heart of it. The human social and environmental condition is currently determined by the management of eusocial tribalism, which unfortunately demonstrates the modern high school as a factory for producing tribalism without reason. The modern high school is a factory for producing tribalism without reason spanning elder-teachers, sport-soldiers, cheerleader-sexual selection (mating with choice females is determined in relationship to tribalism), and marching war drum-musicians, each performing the function of reproducing our particular “cultural survival vehicle”. Effectively, such institutionalization enables each microcosmic jurisdiction through ultra-primitive tribalism without reason.

It’s no wonder that society only requires graduation from this “tribalism factory” to quantify producing a legitimate citizen, including why it is commonly observed that the same social dynamics simply get repeated after high school. Considering that the equivalent institutions also occur successively at college, clearly, tribalism is now highly institutionalized, including promoted in the free market. If you’re wondering why graduation from college deposits one into a poor free market situation, it’s because tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason designs a repeatedly poor free market situation. Consequently, only through reason will we be able to flip the equation of existence from obsolete biological determinisms that cause negative consequence, to superior cognitive-based, science-based, and systems-based social design that designs predictive positive consequence from the physics-governed indifferent universe.

Meanwhile, unfortunately, our technology is highly integrated with fossil fuels, which has become a problem. I.e., not only are fossil fuels causing global warming, but to stop using fossil fuels would require losing our ability to technology. Consequently, many feel that the only hope is to continue using fossil fuels just as we are - through tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason - and then additionally hope that our technology produces a solution, or “techno-fix”.

It is clear that Homo sapiens desperately require both social design solutions and alternative energy solutions founded on reason. If for example, we curtailed the use of fossil fuels to service tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason, we could virtually halt the engine of tribal destruction spewing ignorance, falsehood, exploitation, and oppression, including poverty, horror, and death across the planet. Unification with science and environmentalism will produce a political philosophy of biocentrism that will also serve our species anthropocentrism in a sustainable manner, by reverse engineering a sustainable Spaceship Earth. Reverse engineering a sustainable Spaceship Earth will not require the construct of money and sovereign currencies serving tribalism without reason. Such primitive institutions are identified to serve the genetic expansion and territorial aggression of church-state exceptionalism without reason that requires turning money, poverty, and falsehood into violence. Unification with science and environmentalism will require the science-based systems-based sustainable regulation and distribution of people and resources. In addition, identical to defeating global warming - if we don’t act unilaterally - there’s little reason to make isolated efforts.

Our species history is defending the tribe to select “our” tribe’s genes over “other” tribe’s genes - but there has to be a tribe in the first place to defend at all. Our species current evolutionary battle is to design a single global tribe - “One People on One Planet in One Reality” - functioning in sustainable unification with governing physics, and this will require a Herculean effort that frequently resembles a Sisyphusian effort, including accused as a Promethean effort.

Chapter 2

The Dilemma of Natural Selection

A process that determines the evolution of single-celled organisms is not a process that necessarily benefits determining the most unique and exceptional intelligence in the known universe: Homo sapiens. The ability of Homo sapiens to escape the biological determinism of mindless natural selection through intelligent artificial selection and logic is important, otherwise natural selection will continue to diminish us through tribalism without reason.

Introduction

Natural selection is exquisitely perverse when subject to profound bottom-up evolutionary ignorance and other limiting factors, such as defending a territorial radius. Such deterministic consequence for Homo sapiens has produced “brain-dead” instinctual tribalism without reason manifest through the genetic expansion and territorial aggression of church-state exceptionalism without reason, spanning the falsehood of religion to the falsehood of growth-model laissez faire capitalism on a finite planet.

A mindless natural selection process produces an equally “brain-dead” product: meaning, ubiquitous tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason are instinctual, regardless if we can handle this truth or not. Moreover, the ability to “handle this truth or not” doesn’t function in a vacuum; there are physics-governed consequences for our species level of ability in the indifferent universe.

Clearly, the physics-governed consequence for our species level of ability in the indifferent universe currently requires a top-down science-based systems-based solution. Depending on their circumstance, an alien species might look back on their inherited debt and decide they needed to genetically engineer themselves to have a big brain, no genitals, and a hive-mind. Alternative to such genetic engineering, Homo sapiens might look back on our inherited debt and decide we need to design a solution by producing objective science-based social design that enables our species idiosyncratic anthropocentrism in sustainable unification with the biocentrism of the indifferent universe.

Despite our instinctual, ignorant, and primitive tribal attributes actually being selected for “survival” (or not through global warming), natural selection is all about endless sex (and violence). Sex is glorious until one attempts to integrate the bottom-up ignorant biological determinisms of tribalism without reason with science-identified top-down physics-governed determinisms, because these two determinisms don’t engender a readily sustainable cocktail party, or lovechild. Nevertheless, Homo sapiens exist in exactly this “sexual hell”. I.e., instinctually eliminating the territorial enemy, and then eagerly reproducing your genetics while remaining subject to brain-dead instinctual tribalism without reason leading to global warming extinction.

I for one don’t want to remain in natural selection-determined brain-dead instinctual tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason, until premature global warming extinction. I want to get my Homo sapiens house in order with the fierce urgency of now. Homo sapiens are one tiny deterministic step better than Homo neanderthalensis, which genocidal circumstance was determined by instinct, ignorance, and violence. I can already identify the next evolution of our species to be at least one tiny deterministic step better through absence from violence, because the fate of “biology with technology” is now determined by intelligence and wisdom.

If “biology with technology” manages to survive through intelligence and wisdom, one wonders how far this autocatalytic evolutionary dynamic can continue. Perhaps, if our species successfully jumps through enough biological and physics-governed hoops, we might personify a conception of living gods. I see this potential in the face of every single human being, and it sickens my secular spirit to see it all going to waste.

The Dilemma of Natural Selection

Natural selection is axiomatic to biological evolution* – it is the process that produces the evolution of single-celled organisms, including us – and where applications of manmade artificial selection ultimately serve the selection function traditionally attributed to natural selection. Nevertheless, just as we cannot wish “natural selection”, “survival of the fittest”, or “do or die” scenarios on other human beings, because it is tantamount to wishing death on them*, so too we cannot wish artificial selection on human beings in absence of targeting social design protocols that design sustainable life*. If a few generations are enabled to pass through the filter of objective social design protocols that design sustainable life, no violence is required to produce a solution through artificial selection.

Nevertheless, implementing such artificial selection through traditional education and democracy currently faces the window of opportunity provided by global warming. When that window begins to close, social and environmental abuses will respond with violence, including attempts to throw money at the problem, and finally using knowledge that is false to promote a resurgence of opiate religion*. The solution however, lies elsewhere from the primitive mindless natural selection process that produced us - and only requires a single correct meme, only made possible by intelligence and science - which freely designs sentient intelligent biology to swim in the sea of universal governing physics to overcome manmade yet physics-governed global warming.

Social science through reductionism to physics identifies applications of manmade artificial selection and logic to be the only mechanisms capable of producing the targeted cognitive-based, science-based, and systems-based adaptations necessary to design Homo sapiens survival in relationship to both overcoming obsolete biological determinisms, and achieving progressive sustainable social design in unification with the physics-governed universe. We must always remember: the physics-governed universe constitutes an objective environment of physical consequence that exists in addition to, and independent of, subjective terrestrial biological evolution.

Just as our species didn’t understand that a supernova light-years away can kill us, or that an erratic orbit asteroid can kill us, or that the amount of energy we introduce into the atmosphere can kill us*, these physics-governed phenomenon can nevertheless absolutely kill us. In addition, subjective false damaging social design that does not integrate our species thoughts and actions in sustainable unification with governing physics can also absolutely kill us - all of us – i.e. tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason causing manmade yet physics-governed global warming.

If you are a sentient intelligent Homo sapiens you had better figure out real quick how to integrate the thoughts and actions of our entire species in sustainable unification with governing physics to overcome manmade yet physics-governed global warming*. My dad told me, when I say “jump” you say “how high” (security protocols) – and in relationship to social design, including security protocols - the bar has been raised considerably by science. Consequently - like getting petrified “stoned” - our awareness of the physics-governed universe is rapidly expanding, including that we must quickly integrate our biological function in sustainable unification with the physics-governed universe. This relationship and situation is now amply demonstrated by manmade yet physics-governed global warming. Identifying universal governing physics provides a Standard Candle* for subjective terrestrial biological evolution to achieve social and environmental sustainability by.

Meanwhile, natural selection on Earth remains a mindless microcosmic process that can only adapt organisms to immediate terrestrial conditions conducive to life - not variations of temperature and atmosphere to negatively affect those conditions - and not in predictive response to cosmological influences and circumstances such as a physics-governed supernova, or physics-governed global warming.

Natural selection is blind to changing terrestrial environmental conditions: natural selection will allow a species to suffer and diminish and even go extinct until organisms develop new adaptations that enable them to survive in the new environmental conditions. So far, this “social-mechanical” relationship has been determined by ignorance, which one-sided relationship causes natural selection to produce a new version of the species, or requires entirely new organisms to evolve from the ground up in response to the new environmental conditions.

Unfortunately, natural selection also remains blind to physics-governed cosmological influences, which are however, equally if not more consequential: for example, physics-governed mass extinctions, climate and environmental catastrophes*, and global warming. In all cases, the only solution is for biological organisms to perform required adaptations. In Homo sapiens case, global warming identifies that solutions are only made possible through artificial selection and logic to identify with science, monitor with scientific instruments, including steward and change appropriately through objective science-based systems-based social design.

It is extremely significant to identify that in 4 billion years, every species went extinct without ever developing the intelligence to understand why, which is a perversely poor track record for natural selection. Demonstratively, natural selection is a mindless process. Mindless natural selection has caused Homo sapiens through brain-dead instinctual tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason, as the equivalent of an anthill, or beehive. Clearly - mindless, brain-dead, instinctual natural selection is not our friend. I know this is difficult to process when we take ourselves so seriously, and our loved ones so seriously, and our limited scientific ability through an anthropocentric social-mechanical relationship so seriously. Meanwhile however, the biocentric mechanical-social relationship of manmade yet physics-governed global warming is also serious, and we will need to objectify our relationship with existence to overcome it.

So, what happens when natural selection will allow a species to suffer, and diminish, and even go extinct, until or unless (an ultimatum) organisms develop new adaptations? In addition, the particular new adaptation that “biology with technology” must develop is becoming the first species on Earth sighted through intelligence and see through the great veil in the sky*, to identify and overcome physics-governed cosmological influences, which through causality also affect terrestrial circumstances. In addition, when Homo sapiens must become the first species on Earth sighted through intelligence to see through the great veil on the ground*, to identify and overcome mindless natural selection influences.

Typically, people don’t like being confronted with ultimatums. So, why should we consider natural selection confronting Homo sapiens with a brain-dead ultimatum by mindlessly following the determinisms of tribalism without reason okay? Why is it okay for the falsehood of religion, growth-model capitalism on a finite planet, and church-state exceptionalism without reason, to diminish our species into a “blind fish” swimming in creepy indifferent universe-determined blackened conditions leading to global warming extinction? How is this somehow superior to our own species intellectual ability to choose performing sighted intelligent unification with bright science and shinning physics, to design social and environmental sustainability?

What happens therefore, when sentient intelligence becomes critical of the process of natural selection? Natural selection isn’t infallible (where one cannot anthropomorphize a mindless process with intelligent purpose to produce a desired result). Even within the microcosmic terrestrial environment where the process of natural selection produced Homo sapiens, natural selection has also produced many biological aberrations that we would consider an unacceptable existence. For example, fish that were once sighted but are now blind, or have both eyes grotesquely wrapped around to one side of their face. In addition, because of such natural selection many organisms then become fated to extinction*. One wonders how long Homo sapiens will allow mindless natural selection influence to wrap both of our eyes around to one side of our species head, and perceive tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason as intractable reality, instead of controlling our destiny through artificial selection and logic.

Even though it’s more accurate to identify our evolution through past lesser ability to represent evolutionary “blindness”, we could use the distinction of being evolutionarily “sighted” or “blind” in another capacity as well. Homo sapiens for example were once “sighted”, meaning perfectly adapted to a hunting-gathering mode of production. Because of technology however, and the ability to affect the entire global ecosystem, our species is now effectively “blind”. Demonstratively, the evolution of our tribal instincts didn’t prepare us for becoming a unified global tribe thinking and acting in sustainable unification with governing physics. Meanwhile, the mindless process of natural selection is still “perfectly happy” with how our species was produced through microcosmic tribalism, and we won’t know that natural selection is “unhappy” with our species until we begin to die out and go extinct*. The immense extinction of species currently occurring however, should be giving us a clue about how “happy” natural selection is with the thoughts and actions of Homo sapiens, serial killer of planet Earth*.

If natural selection is “smarter than we are”*, why is it:

• A mindless process incapable of planning or predicting the future, or producing a desired result. Every species has gone extinct without ever developing the intelligence to understand why; is “ignorance is bliss” the epitome of sweet merciful existence? Yikes. Virtually the only function of natural selection in relationship to sentient intelligent biology is to resume duties as a mindless culprit after all other attempts to design life through intelligent artificial selection fail. I.e. let’s avoid, for example, considering natural selection “smarter than we are” simply because the nasty primitive attributes selected by natural selection reemerge once again to serve our species well during our diminishment back into logistically subdivided tribalism because we ran out of fossil fuels. Homo sapiens orgy with fossil fuels may ultimately constitute a brief “blip” on the radar of natural selection, but we must still understand how mindless natural selection diminishes us through brain-dead instinctual tribalism. Unfortunately, natural selection excels at selecting primitive mindless adaptations that facilitate ignorant incompetence, i.e. the “I. D. P. (Ignorance, Division with governing physics, cause and effect Punishment) Causality Model”*.

• Capable of producing vestigial organs, vestigial instincts, impaired function leading to extinction (i.e. false damaging subjective social design through the genetic expansion and territorial aggression of church-state exceptionalism without reason producing global warming), including evolutionary dead-ends.

• Long slow genetic evolution has produced obsolete, false, and damaging instincts and institutions developed in response to primitive tribalism without reason and primitive modes of production, which current cultural evolution responding to global technological civilization has a difficult to global-warming-impossible time correcting.

• No one can assert “survival of the fittest” or wish natural selection on another person, because it is tantamount to wishing death on them. Consequently, evolutionary biologists are careful to qualify “natural selection” acting in human society relegated to accidents and sexual selection (even though sexual selection serves tribalism without reason), including medical and genetic disorders, and never as a matter of social policy that determines “winners and losers”. After all these years, given the litany of mindless nasty adaptations that natural selection produces spanning the falsehood of religion, growth-model laissez faire capitalism on a finite planet, and the highest disparity of wealth to poverty and concentration of power in history, to each promote the ultra-primitive genetic expansion and territorial aggression of church-state exceptionalism without reason, including of course cause global warming, there’s almost nothing about natural selection that remains desirable for human existence. I certainly hope that the future human condition isn’t diminished into such natural selection tyranny, which is inconsistent with the advertised world accommodation of biological diversity through democracy, and the rule of law that is asserted to represent everybody equally* - moreover - inconsistent with a scientific definition of liberty in sustainable unification with governing physics.

We already know that natural selection can design and successfully exploit the falsehood of religion to bind a tribe in unity and defeat the territorial enemy*. So presumably, we already know that natural selection can design and successfully exploit the falsehood of fill-in-the-blank. For example, fundamentalist unscientific unregulated individual liberty through growth model laissez faire capitalism on a finite planet to promote church-state exceptionalism without reason, which will be equally incompatible with a scientific definition of liberty in sustainable unification with governing physics. Natural selection-determined primitive tribalism without reason is why church and state achieve system symbiosis without reason, including why the state largely represents a military and uses economics as a tool of “cold war” to promote church-state exceptionalism without reason*. Consequently, secular-progressive social design - such as providing a social safety net for all the secular hedonists – certainly has a difficult time demonstrating that their ideology contributes to church-state exceptionalism without reason.

It is overwhelmingly clear that being unscientific and being unregulated go hand-in-hand as clearly as tribalism without reason to produce church-state exceptionalism without reason, spanning the illogic, exploitability, and physical damage of religion*, to growth-model laissez faire capitalism on a finite planet*. Clearly, the tribal accommodation of religion to bind a tribe in unity and defeat the territorial enemy has caused a false damaging unscientific unregulated definition of individual liberty that cannot possibly be scientifically correct. The tribal accommodation of religion has affected militarism, politics, and economics during the mindless natural selection-determined ultra-primitive genetic expansion and territorial aggression of church-state exceptionalism without reason. This circumstance now includes religio-economics* as a tool of “cold church-state war”, spanning “Theo-conservative trickledown Reaganomics”, “The Family on C Street”, including “The Wealth of Nations” that simply enables church-state exceptionalism without reason.

Meanwhile, the ultra-primitiveness of mindless natural selection to produce tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason, has clashed in a head-on collision with “biology with technology” attempting to integrate with the immensely singular, truthful, objective, and consequential* physics-governed indifferent universe, for example to overcome manmade yet physics-governed global warming. Let’s hope (an accurate use of the concept of hope*) that the entirely predictable and mundane construction of America’s “cultural survival vehicle” is Homo sapiens last effort at producing tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason. A scientific definition of liberty in sustainable unification with governing physics - for example to overcome manmade yet physics-governed global warming - doesn’t identify any insurmountable problem with sexual diversity (where sexual diversity was formerly represented as “kin selection” and “inclusive fitness theory”*, and now identified through multi-level selection). A scientific definition of liberty does, however, identify a nearly insurmountable problem with determining the human condition through an unscientific unregulated definition of individual liberty that cannot possibly be scientifically correct to influence natural selection through false damaging institutions.

Why should evolutionary biology kick the considerable responsibility of identifying truthful sustainable social design downhill to the humanities? Do the new hybrid natural-social sciences of sociobiology, astrobiology, and astrosociobiology, or as I prefer physiosociobiology, represent the modern status quo abilities of academia through the humanities, for example postmodernism? Postmodernism wants to turn the potential multiverse into an insolvable moral conundrum exploring hypothetical “multiple you’s” on “multiple Earth’s”* until the very real and consequential genetic expansion and territorial aggression of church-state exceptionalism without reason executed through the falsehood and damage of religion and growth-model capitalism on a finite planet causes premature global warming extinction for everyone.

The Dilemma of Mindless Natural Selection Promoting the Brain-Dead Roles of Tribalism

Hypothesis Part A: The mindless process of natural selection produces an equally “brain-dead” product; meaning, the idiosyncrasy of tribalism and the roles of tribalism are instinctual, and our species eusocial nature follows the puppet-master of tribalism unconsciously. Therefore, we should not be confused when information-based existence allows some flexibility to move in and out of the roles of tribalism, that the roles of tribalism (human colonies) are any less deterministic than specialization within an ant colony. Nobody however, wants to acknowledge this natural selection-determined truth about a eusocial/tribal species. Nevertheless, whatever roles we happen to be playing, in whatever culture, they always serve the same puppet-master of tribalism that requires the selfishness of individual-level selection and the magnanimous requirements of group-level selection to work together and exploit each other.

Ultimately, this natural drama identifies “man versus nature”*. Some may extol this natural drama with grandeur. Mindless natural selection genetically specializes us to fill the ubiquitous social roles of tribalism without reason (identified by sociobiology, gene-culture theory, and our cultural survival vehicles), where predisposition to conservative roles already mirrors brain-dead specialization within an ant colony. Meanwhile, the modern high-school identifies a Prussian military-model* factory for producing logistically subdivided tribes competing over limiting natural resources that remains compromised by poor-quality status-quo information. (I intend the school environment to operate through truth, sustainability, and progressive options - but for now it does not.) Consequently, I don’t recommend forming sexual selection relationships in high school, unless one intends to embed their relationship in the roles of tribalism without reason through conservative interpretations of religion, politics, and economics*.

Please don’t mistake being correct for being cruel*; I was taught that if one cannot accept criticism one cannot learn, and in an age of science, technology, and information, learning is everything. Believe me; identifying our species biological determinisms isn’t any more fun for me than it is for you.

If I were the fictional devil, I would be parading bold-face down every main-street in America, and the world, freely ejaculating horror in response to Homo sapiens “state of nature” determined by ignorance, division, and punishment. For example, some have accused allegiance to unregulated fundamentalist laissez faire capitalism poked by the sharp stick of economic libertarianism to resemble a “religious fervor”*. Just as “if it results in a satisfying destruction of the enemy”* we are all capable of atrocities that are inconsistent with the rule of law, the atrocity of growth-model laissez faire capitalism on a finite planet through trickledown economics and economic libertarianism qualifies everyone as the enemy. Moreover, circa 2013, manmade laws aren’t even close to representing the democracy of knowledge identified by science and governing physics. This conservatism results in pursuing a satisfying destruction of everyone as the enemy to negate far more than the rule of law, but the entirety of political democracy*, the social safety net, any ability to FDR’s Second Bill of Rights, including cause global warming.

Capitalism isn’t called “capitalism” for nothing: capitalism will either consume the entire planet over profit, including while punishing Homo sapiens with microscopic wags, or punish Homo sapiens while attempting to survive on microscopic pizzas. Why then, assert that Americans should compete with China, when China practices state protectionism that America doesn’t, and where the majority of such “world class” products maintain supply-side economics that line both the shelves of the dollar store and tyrants pockets?

Moreover, if we all need to be playing by the same rules, Homo sapiens aren’t even close to playing by the same rules that design brain-dead instinctual tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason in sustainable unification with physics-governed physical reality, for example to defeat manmade yet physics-governed global warming. Determining economics through a “free marketplace of ideas” compromised by natural selection-determined ultra-primitive tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason that requires turning money, poverty, and falsehood into violence, is consequently demonstrated as utterly bankrupt*.

This may be a rhetorical question to convention determined by tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason that requires turning money, poverty, and falsehood into violence, but why not simply enable people to their fullest potential from the beginning in a truthful system that didn’t predate on them? Some identify that there are sufficient resources to distribute to them*. Moreover, reverse engineering a sustainable Spaceship Earth makes supply and demand a perennially sustainable equation. Homo sapiens shouldn’t be diminished into only producing results because we need to survive while being predated on by capitalist exploitation, which institution is clearly the product of mindless natural selection-determined brain-dead tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason. Our species can provide for itself much better than by remaining subject to such mindless natural selection-determined tyranny*.

Natural selection after all, isn’t a “truthful” system. For example, natural selection has no intelligent ability to produce a species in sustainable unification with the physics-governed indifferent universe. Consequently, every species has gone mindlessly extinct in relationship to understanding or adjusting their function in sustainable unification with either terrestrially determined circumstances, or ultimately, physics-governed circumstances. Examples span physics-governed habitat/climate catastrophes both geological and atmospheric, rouge asteroids, other cosmological catastrophes that we haven’t yet encountered, and of course manmade yet physics-governed global warming.

Sentient biology requires developing intelligence and performing solutions through artificial selection and logic in order to produce a desired result in unification with governing physics. Clearly, only artificial selection and logic can produce truthful sustainable social design consistent with governing physics, for example to overcome manmade yet physics-governed global warming. Consequently, a social system cannot avoid a populace from becoming a problem - which is a group-level selection issue - through the concept of “individual responsibility”, which is an individual-level selection issue, when that social system is corrupted and made dysfunctional through the institutional falsehood of religion and growth-model laissez faire capitalism on a finite planet. Clearly, the institutions of religion and growth-model laissez faire capitalism are simply products of mindless natural selection-determined tribalism without reason producing the genetic expansion and territorial aggression of church-state exceptionalism without reason that requires turning money, poverty, and falsehood into violence.

Free trade could be considered a democratic process. Why should then, a “democratic process” determine human quality of life through social and economic stratification for the worse? The answer is it shouldn’t; the democracy of knowledge and political democracy should design social and environmental sustainability first, and profit second - but that’s not what happens - because our definition of individual liberty is false and damaging*. I.e. our definition of individual liberty is “religio-economic exotic”, which is reflective of natural selection-determined brain-dead tribalism without reason producing church-state exceptionalism without reason, including conservative institutions that exploit individuals in relationship to maintaining the status quo of “successful” tribalism without reason. Not surprisingly, these Old World institutions have become massively unsustainable in relationship to exponentially idiosyncratic “biology with technology”. It’s an old joke, but we need a new status quo; and not in colorful variety of tribal design, rather with our species relationship with nature itself*.

Meanwhile, our conception of political democracy determined by tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason (which is massively inconsistent with the democracy of knowledge identified by science and governing physics) to enable false damaging religion and growth-model laissez faire capitalism on a finite planet through the same definition of liberty - which is scientifically impossible – remains, nonetheless, the status quo. When we identify however, our species biological determinism through tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason to produce militarism, religion, and competitive and conservative ideologies and ethics, including socially dysfunctional disparity in wealth and concentration of power, all in relationship to the secular-progressive social and economic collectivism required to successfully manage limiting resources, maintain the delicately balanced nonlinear feedback loops of the ecosystem, and overcome global warming – we see the extensive biological determinisms that corrupts free trade into dysfunction, i.e. “Free Trade Doesn’t Work”*.

Capitalist exploitation feeds on its own brain-dead instinctual tribal-tail in a mindless natural selection race to the bottom, equal to evolutionarily blind fish masturbating in the dark. Such natural selection-determined blind masturbation is evidenced by both a false damaging unscientific unregulated definition of individual liberty that cannot possibly be scientifically correct, and resulting predatory market, for example the strip malls of bottom-feeding business models.

Blood-banks, payday loan stores, fast food, and dollar stores - each floating next to the other - identify that the natural selection lady doth protest too much. In addition, floating in the blackened indentured servitude ocean of the debtor-lender market that exploits people to borrow their way into the middle class identifies the tribalism of extremely Jewish religio-economic exotic Wall Street. Consequently, religio-economic tribalism without reason has caused an unscrupulous “financialization”* of America’s economy to now constitute a dysfunctional 40% of ultra-primitive tribal GNP. (I have zero motivation to demonize the Jewish people; the analysis of tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason simply reveals religio-economic influence where it is found.)

Sam Harris identifies that all three branches of government are infected with the cancer of fundamentalist religion*, and how this causes society to become dysfunctional. Moreover, virtually all the major atheists and evolutionary biologists have produced serious academic efforts that condemn the falsehood and damage of religion, and of course many academics have condemned capitalism as well. Clearly however, most constituents are incapable of responding to progressive academic arguments, and instead rely on instinctual assessments of character, emotion, and brain-dead tribalism-determined bullet-point talking points*. Nonetheless, one of my favorite information-based assessments of religion is Douglas Krueger’s “What is Atheism”, which identifies how faith-based reasoning is illogical, easily exploitable, and causes physical damage, which identifies social science through reductionism to physics.

Meanwhile, it is commonplace that the rule of law in America is represented by a conservative judge spanning Supreme Court Justice to local County jurisdiction that thinks the people that are paraded before them are poor or troubled because they are evil, and willing to “throw the key away” on anyone perceived affecting America’s ability to design a covenant between man and god through the prosperity of money. After all, American religion must evangelize the entire planet before Jesus can return to Earth and perform the Rapture, so let’s make sure the Democratic platform officially recognizes defending Jerusalem as a religio-political priority. Ouch.

Consequently, there is no sustainable ability to personal responsibility spanning local, county, state, national, and international scales through a definition of liberty that enables the falsehood of religion and growth-model laissez faire capitalism on a finite planet through the same definition, which is scientifically impossible. Show me an example of such “personal responsibility” and I’ll show you a statistical aberration determined by tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason that destroys both society and the natural environment.

For example, it’s scientifically impossible to maintain disparity in wealth and concentration of power, in relationship to the social and economic equality necessary to produce systems-based sustainable unification with governing physics. It’s scientifically impossible to maintain a supernatural god-governed afterlife hierarchy, in relationship to maintaining the natural physics-governed hierarchy that governs the delicately balanced nonlinear feedback loops of the ecosystem, and global warming. Nothing screams “PRODUCE A TECHNO-FIX NOW” for global warming by emphasizing the tribalism of producing anther “Sputnik generation” to influence “free market” ARPA-E more than church-state exceptionalism without reason that requires turning money, poverty, and falsehood into violence. The entire church-state model depends on producing a techno-fix, and avoiding a socio-fix through atheism and ecosocialism. Clearly, maintaining such scientific impossibility defended as liberty™, freedom™, capitalism™, and democracy™ in America* identifies why church-state empires become over extended while managing a false damaging agenda, and always fail*.

Mindless natural selection that is incapable of planning or predicting the future is incompatible with predictive science, deterministic governing physics that produce dynamic situations such as asteroids and global warming, including predictive sustainable social design. Many of our progressive civil liberties are demonstrated to contradict our primitive instincts. Certainly, no one can defend both God and Darwin in the same sentence: deism is dead, and freedom of speech in division with deterministic science and governing physics is correspondingly dead. Moreover, no one can wish “survival of the fittest” or natural selection on another person, because it is tantamount to wishing death on them, which is why evolutionary biologists are careful to confine identifying natural selection in human society to “medical and genetic disorders”.

These examples all demonstrate the immense liabilities* of mindless natural selection, spanning species extinction, to philosophical extinction, to politically correct extinction between natural selection acting in society and the ability of science to manage natural selection acting in society. Lots of fish with both eyes grotesquely wrapped around to one side of their head sporting a vestigial organ, floating around in a horrific darkened existence of flesh and teeth, including Homo sapiens that are critical of tribalism without reason, will confirm such a critical appraisal of mindless natural selection.

E. O. Wilson identifies the following human instincts through sociobiology*:

· Bonding Between Parents and Children

· Division of Labor between the Sexes

· Dominance Orders within Groups

· Heightened Altruism toward Closest Kin

· Incest Avoidance

· Male Dominance Overall

· Male Promiscuity

· Other Forms of Ethical Behavior [i.e. militarism, religion, politics, economics*]

· Suspicion of Strangers

· Territorial Aggression over Limiting Resources

· Tribalism

Homo sapiens are currently attempting to sort through these instincts, and determine which remain relevant to our species new manmade yet physics-governed global warming circumstances. For example, scientists have identified dietary habits developed during our hunting-gathering period indicate placing high value in sweet and fatty foodstuffs. Today of course, not only are these “high value” sweet and fatty foodstuffs plentiful, but also the most affordable foodstuffs. Consequently, not only do all Homo sapiens demonstrate a propensity to covet sugar and fat, but those subject to Theo-conservative trickledown Reaganomics low income are virtually forced to consume sugar and fat from the industrial-high-fructose-corn-syrup-food-chain*.

Americans have been fat and happy and apathetic while evaporating their online virtual interactions into the ether*, and while exploiting our obsolete instincts spanning coveting fat and sugar to acquiring the peacock’s tail with disparity in wealth enabled by the church-state through Theo-conservative trickledown Reaganomics supporting the industrial-high-fructose-corn-syrup-food-chain. During this perversion that predates on the sacrificial individual, we have listened to American Presidents glamorize the benefits of “liberty™”, “freedom™”, “democracy™”, and “capitalism™” determined by church-state exceptionalism without reason that requires turning money, poverty, and falsehood into violence. In the process, Homo sapiens have traded truth, dignity, nobility, and sustainability for disparity in wealth and global warming, including potential “certain as instincts and clogged arteries” premature extinction. I hope that when we weigh the value of our species against profit during the final days of global warming horror, that multi-level selection and our cultural survival vehicles are filthy rich with brain-dead embarrassment.

The most obvious example of sorting through these instincts, and determining which remain relevant to our species new physics-governed global warming circumstances, is since the Civil Rights Movement the Woman’s Movement is challenging male dominance hierarchy and the division of labor. The Woman’s Movement is also challenging male promiscuity with child support, and arguably forms of ethical behavior through increasing lesbianism, including gay parenting. Moreover, the Civil Rights movement is challenging all forms of instinctual behavior determined through tribalism without reason and a hunting-gathering mode of production:

· The Woman’s Movement is challenging division of labor between the sexes and male dominance hierarchy.

· Traditional male-female conceptions of bonding between parents and children now include gay parents.

· Holding male promiscuity accountable through child support.

· Extending altruism through charity, philanthropy, and social welfare programs.

· Minimizing suspicion of strangers through the melting pot of democracy, the rule of law, and globalization.

· Minimizing tribalism through democracy, the rule of law, and market collaboration.

· Homogenizing (flattening) dominance orders within groups through market collaboration (“Wikinomics”), including through democracy.

· Some might assert that we are minimizing territorial aggression over limiting resources by developing the greatest wealth and plenty in the history of the world enabled by fossil fuels. Unfortunately, this argument implodes after accounting for “externalities” such as dysfunctional disparity in wealth, concentration of power, stagnate economically and socially conservative government protecting big oil, class poverty, pollution, biodiversity loss, global warming, and repeated subversion, wars, and occupation of foreign oil producing nations.

Darwin ingeniously immediately identified that the “gladiator theory” of evolution was false – where uniformly selecting individual-level selection tyrants is non-conducive to the group-level selection requirements of a eusocial/tribal species. Darwin therefore identified the domestication of dogs from wolves as a model* for our own species domestication, to emphasize Mutual Aid, i.e. group-level selection. In addition, because of “biology with technology”, group-level selection has taken on all new science-identified deterministic requirements that Darwin, Marx, and the Founding Fathers did not have access to. Nevertheless, Darwin was correct: mutual understanding and mutual aid is now required to overcome the trappings of ultra-primitive tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason, and produce a new sustainable social and environmental human condition.

Natural selection - with one possible exception demonstrated by the emergent cognitive abilities of a eusocial hairless hominid - produces and then exploits a mindless primitive instinctual sexual hell. Consequently, natural selection has always resulted in mindless extinction so utter as to be completely unaware of the cosmological determinism through stellar nucleosynthesis* that produced the potential of life to exist at all, including evolutionary determinisms such as eusociality, tribalism, and multi-level selection.

Meanwhile, presumably, natural selection considers it “okay” for a species to sexually reproduce their way into brain-dead instinctual oblivion, i.e. the “sexual hell” metaphor I began the chapter with, including the evolutionary dead-end of global warming. This situation spanning deterministic objective physics-governed cosmological construction, and equally deterministic ignorant subjective biological evolution, identifies that life is subject to fundamental cosmic contradiction. Natural selection is consequently proven subject to a plethora of biological determinisms that do not enable making sustainable adaptations in relationship to physics-governed existence, for example to overcome manmade yet physics-governed global warming.

Given such extensive adversity - where neither natural selection nor a god is capable of helping us any further - should we just give up? No, we should move on to the next chapter of Homo sapiens journey on planet Earth in the indifferent universe, with purpose and confidence through the predictive ability of science.

Chapter 3

Artificial Selection is Axiomatic to Designing Social and Environmental Sustainability

Consistent with the biological determinism of tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason, I possess a terrible intelligence.

Introduction

Astrobiology* identifies that the indifferent universe produces entire regions of galactic construction not conducive to biological existence (dead zones plagued with various forms of radiation), and that’s in galaxies that are conducive to biological existence at all, as many galaxies are completely uninhabitable. Not surprisingly, the indifferent universe also produces planetary conditions not conducive to biological existence; for example Earth’s evil twin Venus, including during much of planet Earths history complex multi-cellular biological existence wasn’t possible at all.

Debating the indifferent universes ability to affect planetary weather patterns* however - which with all due respect is immensely important in relationship to manmade yet physics-governed global warming - really misses the bigger picture point about how problematic life in the indifferent universe actually is. Neil deGrasse Tyson is expert at identifying all the ways the universe tries to kill us, which destroys the concept of intelligent design*. In addition, the Rare Earth theory identifies that complex multi-cellular life is rare and precious. To summarize the point - there’s no all-powerful “man in the sky” looking out for us. Identifying the myriad cosmological circumstances that are non-conducive to multi-cellular life – i.e. the Rare Earth theory – including the myriad evolutionary circumstances of pre-adaptations leading to producing a sentient intelligent eusocial hairless hominid – all conflate the fact that our sentient eusocial existence is rare enough to warrant intelligent state-of-the-art protectionist* measures.

What happens then - since our species is so astrobiologically lucky to have evolved through immensely problematic cosmological and terrestrial natural selection - and then only recently acquired ability to it - when we instead favor the intelligent cognitive process of artificial selection and logic? What happens when we favor our species chances to survive and improve through progressive cognitive-based cultural evolution, where everything Homo sapiens interacts with is planned and designed to ensure our species survival. Of course, a Dyson Sphere* is the epitome of artificial selection, which ability remains far beyond Homo sapiens. Obviously, Homo sapiens will be challenged in our idiosyncratic ability to artificial selection and logic through feats of social and physical engineering.

Predictively, this new cognitive and science-based product is vastly different than the product produced through past lesser influences. This superior new product has no concern with exploiting mindless natural selection-determined tribalism without reason to enable the genetic expansion and territorial aggression of church-state exceptionalism without reason, (most recently expressed through the philosophical generalization of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”). Rather, this superior new product is concerned with enabling truth for everyone equally, including science-based systems-based collectivism in sustainable unification with the physics-governed cause and effect natural hierarchy*.

Homo sapiens have demonstrated certain evolutionary success through artificial selection and logic to design both biologically specific cause and effect, and ultimately physics-governed cause and effect, in our species favor. Examples span Organic Fire, The Wheel, Agrarian Surplus, Animal Husbandry, Plant Grafting, Gene Splicing, Science, Technology, The Atomic Bomb, Air flight, Spaceflight, Nuclear Energy, and Artificial Intelligence. Consistent with our species ability with artificial selection and logic to escape the Earth and observe it from space, social science through reductionism to physics identifies reverse engineering a sustainable Spaceship Earth. From this enlightened perspective, tribalism evaporates, and the single species of Homo sapiens emerges. From this enlightened perspective, circumnavigated boundaries are not pushed close to the breaking point, but rather prudently designed to function well within a margin of safety regarding what we can produce and consume in a sustainable manner.

The problem however, is that the trappings of primitive bottom-up natural selection resulting in tribalism without reason to produce the genetic expansion and territorial aggression of church-state exceptionalism without reason causes our species inability to integrate our biological function in a sustainable manner with the top-down laws of governing physics. We document this inability spanning the biological determinisms of evolutionary biology to individual psychology.

Enabled by reductionism, Western medicine has studied the human body and brain, and has confirmed a “soul made flesh”*. Western medicine has moved on from Galen to identify a new “positivist” starting point, which has identified evolution and natural selection to determine the human body. Natural selection however, isn’t turning out to be the solution to the human condition, rather the cause of a flawed human condition determined through tribalism without reason.

It is now a luxury to consider that the old dilemma was simply having no goal external to our own biological function*. The new dilemma is far worse – we now identify that our function is fundamentally flawed at the group-selection level by tribalism without reason. At the group-selection level, the new dilemma is that, our species can’t move forward from the new starting point of positivism, when all that positivism does is serve tribalism without reason. For example, such “positivism” has conflated capitalism with “Darwinism” to justify a primitive exploited human condition determined by religio-economics, including cause global warming.

The Dilemma of Tribalism without Reason during a Capitalist Mode of Production

In relationship to psychology, natural/social science has identified a laundry list of obsolete instincts* developed through genetic evolution in response to a hunting-gathering mode of production. Many of these instincts are currently demonstrated as inconsistent with modern civil rights, including inconsistent with “biology with technology” dependent on fossil fuels. Famously, we remain more afraid of snakes and strangers than of cars and electrical sockets, even though cars and electrical sockets kill a vastly higher percentage of people. Homo sapiens are effectively trapped in a “time-warp” determined by obsolete instincts, and those obsolete instincts defend our “Pleistocene obstinacy”, i.e. our cultural survival vehicles determined by tribalism without reason.

Human males demonstrate an affinity for hierarchy, competitiveness, movement, and one-ups-mans-ship, an obsession with sex and promiscuity, and “fix it now fast” psychology. In addition, f-MRI machines reveal that we are emotional and irrational, and that a surprising percentage of people demonstrate sociopathic brain responses. Nature magazine has published results from f-MRI studies that demonstrate the ubiquitous cultural migration into high-density cities is causing increasing schizophrenia (neurotic paranoia).

Science has discovered a male brain pumping with adrenaline and testosterone that promotes social and sexual competitiveness, and that uses dopamine rewards (naturally occurring opiates) to associate cause with positive effect consequence like a monkey getting a banana slice treat. Moreover, what has been considered “positive consequence” has taken every biologically subjective form imaginable while multi-level selection has negotiated church-state exceptionalism without reason, but it has never taken the form of “social unification with the physics-governed ecosystem”.

Our internal reward and learning system is individualistic, and works most effectively through short-term learning experiences that can clearly associate cause with immediate dopamine effect. Consequently, our species individualistic reward and learning system is not specialized to think and act through the long-term “external” goal of “social unification with the physics-governed ecosystem”, and then getting a warm happy dopamine feeling that associates intelligent cause with positive effect consequence.

We are specialized to “pump our brains up” with adrenaline and testosterone and associate social and sexual competitiveness with the positive consequence of thrilling fighting, status climbing, and mating, but we don’t have any chemical to pump our brains up with and associate intelligent cause with positive consequence by performing a long-term goal external to our own internal biological function.

Unfortunately, our minds and bodies evolutionary specialization through dopamine rewards has never needed to understand that performing social unification with the physics-governed ecosystem in point of fact benefits our own internal biological function. For example, indigenous populations frequently promote the profound connection between man and nature, including human harmony with their surroundings; however, indigenous peoples never understood this relationship with the specificity of social unification with the physics-governed ecosystem.

Scientific reductionism, “biology with technology”, and globalization to cause global warming, is a paradigm shift for Homo sapiens, which has no precedent in human history. Meanwhile, our species remains determined by tribalism without reason, where we are caught in a “99 to 1 ratio”, meaning our lowest quality information has been able to affect us the longest, while our newest highest quality information has only been able to affect us briefly.

Meanwhile, our individualistic reward and learning system is adapted to the ignorant terrestrial microcosm environment identified by sociobiology, not the “intelligent” universal macrocosm environment identified by astrobiology to identify how individual unification with the physics-governed ecosystem produces the ability to overcome manmade yet physics-governed global warming. Nevertheless, manmade yet physics-governed global warming identifies that our internal biological function, and our entire species biological function, is now and ultimately determined by intelligent unification with the universal macrocosm environment.

The solution requires a “cognitive decoupling” - alternatively stated, an objectification of our thoughts and actions - between how we evolved through past lesser specialization and what new superior specialization is required to survive. For example, people all over the world ubiquitously respond positively to certain tree aesthetics and architecture that supports the savanna hypothesis. We are still primitive; we remember the safety of trees and the branch-climbing hierarchy of trees, yet most remain unaware of the importance and delicacy of the carbon cycle between carbon dioxide breathers like trees, and oxygen breathers like us. There is a schism existing between performing successful adaptation reliant on our instincts, versus performing successful adaptation reliant on a cognitive-specific relationship with the physics-governed ecosystem, which only science can identify.

We are all scientists now, performing social experiments in relationship to universal protocols. Nature has produced an emerging intelligence – the first of its kind since the Cambrian explosion 550 million years ago. Homo sapiens current biological problem with emerging intelligence is internal conflict between what obsolete damaging instincts are telling us to do the same, and what increasing intelligence through science identifies we need to do differently.

For example, gaining access to a high-rise apartment in the city demonstrating a view consistent with the savanna hypothesis, including all the trappings of fossil fuel reliance (ghost slaves), and ladder-climbing capitalism and exploitation of wage-slaves to achieve it, typically represents a high degree of success. Mark Pagel suggests that natural selection rewards the human accumulation of wealth and extravagance similar to natural selection producing the “peacock’s tail” as a big showy display of physical prowess, where such “unwieldiness” constitutes exceptional fitness rather than an encumbrance. In human society, such current circumstance will produce temporary hierarchical happiness, reproduction, and acculturation.

That soothing view looking out over the city park with your new mate and child determined through current circumstance is however, misleading, because it is far removed from sustainable farming, alternative energy, and a sustainable environment, society, and economy. Consequently, intelligence and instincts are “decoupling”, because we realize that our survival is now dependent on the new high-quality information of science.

Combine these currently compromised psychological attributes with the trappings of tribalism without reason*, and the human condition has an apocalyptic problem. The high percentage of illogical, surprisingly schizophrenic, and alarmingly sociopathic, is oxymoronic for a species dependent on successful eusociality, where the attributes of individual-level selection must successfully integrate with the attributes of group-level selection to achieve victory over the territorial enemy. (I’m not condoning “achieving victory over the territorial enemy”; this example is intended to identify conflict between instincts and “civilization”, including conflict with achieving superior progressive social design.)

One explanation for our f-MRI identified emotional, illogical, and sociopathic responses identifies the battle between the selfishness of individual-level selection attempting to integrate with and/or exploit the magnanimous requirements of group-level selection, and that the schizophrenic cannot process the ubiquitous cultural migration into cities to facilitate “get big or die” infinitely escalating capitalist profit, including the close proximity of inter-tribal diversity determined through globalization.

The genetic expansion and territorial aggression of tribalism will always want to diminish the conflicts between one tribe coexisting in close proximity with other tribes through competition and war, which invalidates growth-model laissez faire capitalism. Consequently, through laissez faire capitalism, we are “burning the candle at both ends” of both individual-level and group-level selection, including making enemies across the entire planet – not because globalization is bad – but because globalization conflicts with brain-dead instinctual tribalism without reason enabled by technology, which is causing premature global warming extinction.

In relationship to multi-level selection, religio-economic stratification is “good” for the church-state, because it enables the church-state to turn money, poverty, and falsehood into violence. Religio-economic stratification isn’t so good for the ubiquitous sacrificial individuals however, as statistics don’t lie and upward mobility has been dead in America since the “flat wages” of the 1970’s. Meanwhile, religious falsehood, repeated recessions, virtual depressions, and war, have remained consistent. This pervasive Neo-conservative, Theo-conservative, and economic libertarian influence has produced America’s current statistical perversity of dysfunctional religious zealotry, disparity in wealth, and concentration of power. The only thing that separated Gilded-age disparity in wealth with current Theo-conservative trickledown Reaganomics disparity in wealth was when the church-state made a secular-socialist response to the Great Depression, and then regulated laissez faire capitalism with FDR’s New Deal. Consistent with all natural disasters, physics-governed physical reality identifies environmental determinism that requires a secular-socialist response.

Nevertheless, the ability of religio-economic stratification through laissez faire capitalism to produce the occasional Nuevo riche works in the church-states favor. Individual disparity in wealth and concentration of power through laissez faire capitalism effectively produces the “new tribe” of a single individual (“incorporated individual”), which can then function in abstraction from the original tribe (church-state). Such individual aberrations would normally be considered a threat to the church-state. These individuals however, benefit from the same laissez faire economic policies of disparity in wealth and concentration of power that also benefit the church-state, where “church-state success” is determined by increasing GNP, and where these capitalist aberrations provide “jobs” and pay “taxes”.

So, instead of becoming enemies, the church-state and the Nuevo riche become “friendemies” - friendemies that squabble over wages and taxation - because the church-state has infrastructure requirements that the Nuevo riche incorporated individual routinely doesn’t consider they share. Nevertheless, the church-state caters to the tyrant of individual-level selection, because if it doesn’t, tyrants will organize against the church-state, which happens when the church-state attempts to regulate laissez faire capitalism.

Clearly, attempting to produce a sustainable society through such an adversarial relationship, including a relationship that is incompatible with the group-level selection of global technological eusociality responding to manmade yet physics-governed global warming, is in point of fact ridiculous. Moreover, the physics-governed indifferent universe is clearly punishing such ridiculousness with premature global warming extinction.

One wonders if gaining access to a plentiful and efficient energy source would always simply enable and magnify Homo sapiens individual-level selection biological determinisms. Current obsession with individual liberty, disparity in wealth, and concentration of power enabled by fossil fuels demonstrates exactly that: enabling the tyrant of individual-level selection to emerge and dominate. The idiosyncrasy of human eusociality and tribalism that causes the attributes of individual-level selection attempting to integrate with and/or exploit the magnanimous attributes of group-level selection ubiquitously produces individuals that want to be insulated and protected individual-level selection “chiefs” and “priests”, rather than sacrificial group-level selection “braves”.

Consequently, our species “specializes” in exploiting every possible deception, spanning social and economic stratification, including abuses of science, to convince the multitude that being 99.7% genetically identical doesn’t count for anything. Possibly therefore, the only sustainable form of eusociality and tribalism (colonies) is made possible by the extended phenotypes of eusocial insects such as ants, which through “mindless objectivity” never enables individual-level selection from dominating their group-level selection. For example, with information-based deception and exploitation determined by gross evolutionary ignorance that becomes immediately invalidated when exposed to the consequential truth of the physics-governed indifferent universe, including punished with negative consequence, i.e. manmade yet physics-governed global warming.

Meanwhile, access to a plentiful and efficient energy source identifies the idiosyncrasy of human eusociality and tribalism to enable the tyrant of individual-level selection to emerge and dominate. The idiosyncratic biological determinism of human eusociality and tribalism may be sustainable in relationship to the “low energy” conditions of hunting-gathering and agrarianism, but clearly not in relationship to the “ultra-high energy” conditions of fossil fuels that negatively impact the entire global ecosystem.

Clearly, Homo sapiens require objective social design to manage fossil fuels in a sustainable manner. Almost comically, all this requires is the science-based systems-based regulation of tyrannical individual-level selection. How long should we allow sexual selection determined by tribalism without reason and a false damaging unscientific unregulated definition of individual liberty that cannot possibly be scientifically correct to burn the world down while mindlessly reproducing obsolete biological determinisms? For the next ten to twenty years, until global warming and biodiversity loss are so deeply seated that no spanner in existence can crack them loose?

Meanwhile, the occasional individual aberration that can function in abstraction from the original tribe is now glorified by the church-state, because such aberrations are few, they increase church-state wealth (GNP), and they promote the glorification of church-state ideology through religion, disparity in wealth, and concentration of power. Consequently, these individual aberrations that manage to overcome “the system”, and can function in abstraction from the original tribe (where wages and taxation provides an interesting group-level selection commentary on individual-level selection tyranny), must nevertheless be accommodated by the church-state; for example Obama glorifying Steve Jobs disparity in wealth. Clearly, capitalism designs a dysfunctional schism between economic policies that either enables tyrannical individual-level selection or magnanimous group-level selection, and where attempting to enable magnanimous group-level selection by promoting tyrannical individual-level selection produces a perverse product, i.e. social and economic horror, including global warming.

Attempting to conflate tyrannical individual-level selection as conductive or instrumental in the achievement of group-level selection through church-state exceptionalism without reason is comically perverse. This circumstance has produced social and economic horror for the multitude, including manmade yet physics-governed global warming. This conflicted church-state/free market relationship makes the church-state look like a court jester, or monkey performing flips, while jockeying for position attempting to appease and entertain the 500 lb. free market tyrant-ape sitting on the same throne of obsolete biological determinism that the church-state sits on*.

The laissez faire capitalism that produces the disparity in wealth and concentration of power that enables the church-state (“The Wealth of Nations” and “Theo-conservative trickledown Reaganomics”) also enables the occasional production of individual tyrants. Such tyrants must be placated in a socially acceptable manner to allow the church-state to maintain the religio-economic policies of laissez faire capitalism that produce the social and economic stratification that facilitates church-state exceptionalism without reason by turning money, poverty, and falsehood into violence.

The church-state is insane, and out-of-control, and only superficially democratic, because democracy serves church-state laissez faire economics that produces social and economic stratification horror, tyrants, obsolete biological determinisms inconsistent with sustainable global technological eusociality, and causes global warming. This closed loop of “negative circular feedback” or “negative circular logic” is incapable of designing a truthful sustainable solution for either the human condition, or manmade yet physics-governed global warming.

The Negative Memes of Negative Circular Logic

Meanwhile, “national exceptionalism” through “The Wealth of Nations” and “Theo-conservative trickledown Reaganomics” isn’t so good for the tribal/gene-culture determined ubiquitous sacrificial individual. Secular progressives might reasonably get very upset over this primitive biological determinism and illogical church-state circumstance. For example, because such circumstance diminishes us into church-state social and economic stratification cannon fodder, including prevents overcoming manmade yet physics-governed global warming and therefore the ability to reproduce ones genes.

I get mean, and I get smart, and I get vindictive, real quick. I apologize for my biological determinism, but we may be the last warriors standing on the last biological battlefield of manmade yet physics governed global warming determined by tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason. I look to the stars, and wonder at what might have been, and I wonder a lot.

Allow me, if I may, as a secular-progressive that is immensely disillusioned with the world determined by both the indifferent universe and mindless natural selection, to indulge perverse church-state consequence by playing “devil’s advocate”, which by default seems appropriate. Knowledge of the biological determinism of tribalism without reason might lead one to say, “I understand what a diminished sacrificial individual I am while determined by church-state exceptionalism without reason, and no longer wish to participate in this biological determinism”. Does the church-state want such reason becoming a meme in society?

Once the biological determinism of tribalism without reason and church-state exceptionalism without reason is identified, sentient intelligence might reasonably become quite critical and logical in response to church-state consequences for the sacrificial masses. Clearly, “life must find a way” in physics-governed physical reality. These biologically-deterministic concepts that we’re dealing with have consequence in physics-governed physical reality, and there’s nothing we can do to escape this determinism; we can only design a truthful sustainable solution.

Secular-progressive revulsion and regurgitation of church-state exceptionalism without reason could presumably produce civil disobedience. Assumedly, these are not the meme’s that a truthful sustainable government wants circulating in society. I ask you, is your government truthful and sustainable? Compliance with physics-governed determinisms in physics-governed physical reality identifies Anti-theist Eco-socialism, i.e. Universalism. Because entropy determines a short, finite, and problematic life subject to physical impact and compromise, the enslaver can exploit the conservation of energy by forcing slaves to perform mundane, unpleasant, and dangerous tasks, and then through free-time, repurposed time and light physical duty, develop increasing individual specialization that benefits the enslaver’s multi-level selection.

A philosopher sitting in the science-based philosopher’s studio performing the task I do right now to benefit our species multi-level selection is such an example. It remains curious to this philosopher therefore, how my current existence and ability is so tenuous, and so compromised, and could have already been so easily extinguished with the pull of a single trigger. My own analysis would of course identify the sacrificial individual. Possibly, our predilection to sacrifice individuals is why we have a hard time inventing things, as one wonders how many “Einstein’s” were converted into church-state cannon fodder. I also wonder how many geologically mundane church-state sycophants were elevated to insulated and protected positions of “chiefs” and “priests” through allegiance to conservative interpretations of militarism, religion, politics, and economics.

Clearly, the practice of eusocial ants performing colony warfare against other eusocial/colony ants, and the enslavement of other eusocial/colony ants, must benefit developing the various individual specializations of eusocial/colony ants such as “giant mandibles”, including therefore benefit the multi-level selection of a eusocial/colony ant species “cultural survival vehicle”.

In human society, Mark Pagel has suggested that natural selection influence has caused the specialization of bakers and shoemakers and other professions (a market interpretation), to benefit a “cultural survival vehicle”. Others such as militarists and Neo-conservatives assert that the evolutionary arms race through escalation between “spear and shield” provides benefit for our species. Meanwhile, I demonstrate natural selection influence on Homo sapiens to cause the ubiquitous deterministic roles of tribalism. These roles span militarism, religion, and competitive ideologies and ethics, which all serve our cultural survival vehicles determined by tribalism without reason, and the genetic expansion and territorial aggression of church-state exceptionalism without reason, to cause social and economic horror for the multitude, including global warming. As Derrick Jensen identifies, all writers are propagandists*; some propaganda however, is more objective than others.

Political democracy that accommodates and exploits the diversity of cultures through capitalism, yet produces ubiquitous class and generational poverty, excels at performing the perverse tribally-determined prejudicial function of turning money, poverty, and falsehood into violence. Consequently, statecraft that sells this deception to the multitude through rhetoric and propaganda is a highly coveted skill. The more oratory and professorial, or downhome genuine it seems, the more effective this church-state exceptionalism without reason deception is.

Such enslavement and exploitation may be acceptable in application to ants, but not in my estimation to determine the human condition. Nevertheless, history is replete with examples of church-state exceptionalism conquering and enslaving. Exposing such natural selection-determined ignorance, falsehood, and natural sadism through “survival of the fittest” determined by church-state exceptionalism without reason, among other instinctual and cultural liabilities, doesn’t identify economic libertarianism to represent “objectivism”, it identifies economic libertarianism as another natural selection-determined church-state sycophant. Every economic libertarian exploring the ability to objectivity is now forced to overcome this considerable argument, including while remembering that nobody can wish natural selection or “survival of the fittest” on another human being, because it is tantamount to wishing death on them.

Observation of church-state exceptionalism determined by mindless natural selection identifies one anthill-tribe fighting another anthill-tribe through “reprogrammable” ant-humans enabled by information-based existence. Information-based existence enables the accumulation of knowledge and cultural learning that promotes “reprogrammable” ant-humans to fill ascending hierarchical positions, which in human colonies have been vetted by reputation/information analysis to fill the conservative roles of militarism, religion, politics, and economics.

I am now cursed by intelligence of eusociality and tribalism to observe exchanges between individual humans as similar to ants rubbing their antennae together. Ants exchange chemical messages to determine friend or foe through species, colony, and for example “warrior” or “scout” class. Similar to eusocial colonies of ants, eusocial/tribal humans use verbal and nonverbal information to determine friend or foe through racial, tribal, class, and ideological compatibility, reputation, and intention.

One wonders what role pheromones play in the exchange of information to determine friend or foe, where evidence already identifies application to sexual selection*. In addition, every epic-scale military movie now demonstrates amassed colonies of ant-humans fighting and enslaving one another determined by tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason, to be every bit as primitive as ant colony warfare and enslavement. I will say it again in the conclusion: tribalism without reason is man’s anthill.

Fundamental similarities between eusocial species as physiologically disparate as ants and humans, yet demonstrating nearly identical colony (tribal) warfare and enslavement, provides compelling evidence for further reductionism, for example to the physics of thermodynamics, the conservation of energy, and entropy. Consistent with gene-culture theory, we could theoretically apply this same reductionism to the thermodynamics of the conservation of energy and entropy to social design. The long-slow environment of genetic evolution predictably excels at exploiting equally predictable perennial qualities such as thermodynamics, the conservation of energy, and entropy. For example, experiments in robotic evolution already identify heightened response to environmental conditions determined by the thermodynamics and conservation of energy caused by alternating light and dark*.

Possibly, the asserted “liberty” of disparity in wealth endorsed by economic libertarians - who typically represent extensive individual specialization through scientific reductionism to produce highly trained professionals and scientists – might reflect the biological benefit of enslavement in relationship to class poverty, including while considering that the church-state requires turning money, poverty, and falsehood into violence.

Consistent with natural selection determined through long-slow genetic evolution, rapid individual biological specialization doesn’t necessarily produce immediate benefit for the individual. Politicians that blame the individual’s skill-set success in the “free market” markedly miss this critical condition, including that people have universal physical needs to fill. Nevertheless, politicians predictably default to condemning the individual to self-sacrifice through wage-slavery poverty, while propagandizing coveting the hopes of liberty™ and freedom™ eventually producing second, third, or fourth generation success.

One wonders what constantly vetting others performance to qualify “well-paying jobs” has to do with satisfying peoples universal physical human needs*. Meanwhile, my economic libertarian friendemies positively get giddy over telling me about PhD’s that are now working at McHolyCow for minimum wage. For example, many scientists, professionals, and inventors - such as Einstein working as a patent clerk - have famously functioned throughout history in obscurity and poverty. You’d think Homo sapiens would have gained a greater affinity for our goodwill contributions while subject to church-state exceptionalism without reason that requires turning money, poverty, and falsehood into violence, including while designing a solution to global warming, but I guess not. So forgive me while I hold a branding iron against Homo sapiens ass that imprints “physics-governed physical reality” so deep in the best and brightest of our species memory that we never forget it. (Let’s hope that premature global warming extinction doesn’t make that metaphor vastly more ironic than intended.)

As identified, vast amounts of individual specialization go insufficiently and pathetically rewarded through unlivable low wages, primarily determined by perverse supply-side economics that over-consume resources and over-produce products to effectively maintain unlivable low wages. Nevertheless, conservatives love “The Wealth of Nations” to define religio-economic “objectivity” through supply-side economics, regardless of a finite planet.

The answer for this conundrum may be that the church-state, including economic libertarianism that demonstratively serves church-state biological determinism, only benefits from the generational exploitation of turning money, poverty, and falsehood into violence. Consequently, church-state-determined individual specialization only benefits through the cumulative enslavement of others - where violence is intrinsic in the monetary system - spanning ghost slaves to class poverty. Consistent with this hypothesis, the church-state requires generational allegiance to conservative interpretations of militarism, religion, politics, and economics, to achieve upward mobility*. Clearly this explains the class poverty of the sacrificial masses, including the influence of science and atheism causing increasing affinity to “secular hedonism” to justify, for example, the Family on C Street condemning class poverty on the sacrificial masses that directly conflict with church-state conservatism.

This circumstance is consistent with immigrants only achieving success in America after generations of conservative allegiance, to achieve the individual specialization of third and fourth generation scientists and professionals. Self evidently, the church-state produces conservative products, where individual specialization exploiting scientific reductionism instinctually gravitates to the disparity in wealth and concentration of power that benefits their progenerator: church-state exceptionalism without reason, i.e. our cultural survival vehicles. This may explain why a church-state sycophant like economic libertarian Ron Paul thinks they understand liberty, but doesn’t believe in evolution.

Social science through reductionism to thermodynamics, the conservation of energy, and entropy, identifies where the church-state enslavement of others through a false damaging unscientific unregulated definition of individual liberty, including through the class poverty of laissez faire capitalism, provides a “justified” (where manmade “liberty” and “justice” always exist in a binary relationship) ideological group-level selection death-shroud hovered over the masses of sacrificial individuals suspended by church-state rhetoric and propaganda.

Alternatively stated, the enslavement of the sacrificial masses through the disparity in wealth and concentration of power of laissez faire capitalism enables increased specialization that benefits the few of the enslavers - those that fill conservative interpretations of militarism, religion, politics, and economics of church-state exceptionalism without reason. Demonstratively, church-state economics only enable individuals complicit with the church-states agenda, which is why wealthy people are “conservative”, i.e. endorse some conservative interpretation of militarism, religion, politics, and/or economics. Consequently, conservative individuals manage their behavior consistent with church-state exceptionalism to become protected, insulated, exceptionalistic tribal “chiefs” and “priests”, rather than exploited sacrificial tribal “braves”.

It is of course, utterly perverse that tribalism without reason causes the multitude to pray at church, to in effect hope that church-state “subjectivity” (poorly qualified genetic expansion and territorial aggression) doesn’t end-up killing them, which is of course, even more perverse when such tragedy is honored and glorified. As identified, our species will need to objectify our relationship with culture to overcome the biological determinism of tribalism without reason, i.e. the “Universal Physical Culturalism” of universal ethics that satisfy universal physical human needs.

In relationship to globalization, designing the attributes of group-level selection to achieve victory over the territorial enemy, including through competitive ideologies and ethics (i.e. “The Wealth of Nations”, “Theo-conservative trickledown Reaganomics”, “The Family of C Street”, etc…), is still the primary determining factor in human existence. Church-state exceptionalism controls its own sovereign currency famously incorporating trust in a god, which is immensely incriminating of tribalism without reason and all its problems. Consequently, many nations famously remain at direct odds with one another in the process of “free trade” while following the primitive biological determinism of tribalism without reason, and church-state exceptionalism without reason. Nevertheless, as a thought experiment, let us imagine an “idealized” version of free trade, where populations that move and trade freely around the planet diminishes tribalism, where for example, economic libertarianism identifies that diminishing tribalism is considered a good thing for economics. In addition, determining the process of free trade through laissez faire capitalism produces disparity in wealth and concentration of power. So far, this depiction seems well and good to conservative thinking.

Already however, this analysis identifies a dilemma. Competitive ideologies such as “The Wealth of Nations” promote the disparity in wealth and concentration of power of laissez faire capitalism that enables the tribalism of fixed sovereign states. This church-state methodology directly contradicts producing entire populations wealthy enough to move and trade freely in an unattached cosmopolitan manner around the planet, which diminishes tribalism, and where diminishing tribalism is considered a good thing for economics.

An immediate hypothesis identifies that, a population that moves and trades freely in an unattached cosmopolitan manner around the planet, which diminishes tribalism, also diminishes the need for the competitive economics that tribalism initially used to exploit globalization. Clearly, the biological determinisms of tribalism apply far less to a population that moves and trades freely in an unattached cosmopolitan manner around the planet. Consequently, the competitive economics that initially drove the globalization equation would no longer be required, and global economics could rapidly reacquire Keynesian secular-progressive attributes through globally consistent demand-side economics, regulation, and progressive taxation of multinational corporations, to produce a globally consistent and sustainable secular-progressive middle class. Such consequence also identifies producing a globally consistent regulating entity, where for example, we could repurpose the United Nations to function as the Democracy of Science.
