First of all you need to get a copy of Iatkos S3v2 DvD (this is the modified version of OSx 10.6.3 that we'll use as a base of our instalation). You can Google it or you can take this download link for it.
Another usefull tool is MacBeast version 3.10.1, that you can download it from tonymacx86.com, after you register for free there.
Now, if you have saved Macbeast on a usb and made the Boot Dvd from the .iso file, print the instructions from here and let's install Mac os on your Dell.
After you hit any key to boot from dvd, open Disk Utility (from Utilities menu) and create a HFS+ (HFS Journaled) partition where the Os will be installed. Hit continue and the arrow and you will reach to a window where you can see the Install button. BUT, you will first hit the "Costumize" button that's in the left corner of the window and you will choose as follow:
RC5 Chameleon bootloader, EVOreboot, SleepEnabler, TSCsync, AHCI, VoodooHDA, VoodooPS2, Natit, X3100 (for GMA965), Broadcomm (from wireless), Broadcomm 440x (from wired)
In order to find all of those written before, you will expand the menus and submenus from Costumize. When you're done, click OK and then Install. The instalation process wiil take about 30 minutes.
After instalation finishes, your pc will restart and probably you will see a black screen and here some music (Bee Gees - Stayin Alive, female adapted version). This can be fixed in two ways: 1. Reboot with your AC cable unplugged, wait around 10 minutes and then plugg it and hit any key, or 2. wait about 2 minutes (it doesn't matter if you're on battery or AC) and then press the combination keys Fn+Shift+Esc. It will go to sleep and imediatley wiil come alive and you'll see your screen with the Account Creation window on it.
Now, here you might get some problems, meaning, you'll probably but not necesarily see only a half of your screen. If not, continue from *** mark.
(for half screen problem)Now hit Alt+F5 combination and you'll activate the Voice. With this help you can manage to go trough entire Setup Account window (keys you will use will be Tab for cycling trough buttons, Ctrl for action and Space for selection). When you finish and reach the Desktop, you'll see a the Taskbar on the top. Now, if you have only half screen, plug in the usb stick with MacBeast, open it (it will apear on your desktop and youl will see it), copy Macbeast to desktop, open MAcbeast, hit Continue few times and Agree on time, choose from list EasyBeast and click install. Wait for the cursor to be busy and enter the password from your account (pasword set it on the last steps of your account setup). After instalation finishes:
*** on the taskbar you'll see a search mark, on the right up corner (magnifying glass). Hit it an write System Preferences, then hit enter. In system preferences go to Expose&Spaces and on the Expose tab Make on of the four corners Hot (Active Screens, choose Put Display to sleep). This think will enable you that on the startup to go to that corner and wake the monitor in order to see the desktop.
Now you have 10.6.3 installed on your Hackintosh. It's time for an upgrade. I choose 10.6.6 cause it seems to be the easiest to install after 10.6.3 (has few errors). So, google search for "Combo Update 10.6.6" and download it from the apple site.
Google again after Sleep Enabler 10.6.6 or take it from here and after that search for Kext Helper b7 (in order to install SleepEnabler) or take it from this link.
Install first Combo Update 10.6.6 and after that Sleep Enabler. Restart your computer after the instalations finishes. If it appears that Osx has hanged, wait a few time and do not hard restart your laptop.
When boot menu apears hit any key and then if you don't want to have a Kernel Panic or a "SATA WARNING: Enable drive PHY PM failed" loop, you will have to write this flags:
pmVersion=21 max_valid_dma_addr=1024
And your system will start. After startup, go to Lybrary/Preferences/System Configuration (using Finder) and look for com.apple.Boot.plist (3rd one i guess). Copy to Desktop and open it. Under the "Kernel Flag" key you will write: <string>pmVersion=21</string> , and save it. Drag the plist back, authenticate, replace the old plist, and now you don,t have to write the pmversion flag at the beginig of startup. The Sata warning is because of Ethernet adapter and you will have to write everytime you start your pc the max_valid_dma flag or you can disable the ethernet from Bios (hit F2 imediate after you're laptop starts to enter bios setup).
And there you have it. The Snow Leopard OsX on your Dell, with Apple Apps Store Fully functional and many more features (including the exfat read/write ability).
