After many long nights and some more sanding and painting it looks much better.
A quick coat of grey primer and the temporary barrel just because it looks COOL.
The big opening on top is the entry hatch. There is a cover. This is just big enough for me to enter into the tank and still retain the lines of the turret.
When the turret is on the hull there is only a couple inches of clearance inside for my head.
Well, it's getting closer to getting done and it's heavier. Estimated around 60 lb.
However it is still able to go in and out of the *Secret* underground test facility as needed.
Dad's garage got a little dusty from the sanding on the turret. There was much vacuuming to be done.
