GeoProcesS

GEOphysical monitoring of hydrogeological and bio-geochemical PROCESses in contaminated Soils

GeoProcesS is an Emergence(s) Research Grant (210k€) funded by Paris City from 2017 to 2022

The trans-disciplinary team GeoProcesS, hosted by UMR 7619 METIS at UPMC, aim at merging geophysical and biogeochemical expertise to support the development of improved techniques for the qualification and remediation of contaminated sites. The main goal of the team is to conceive an integrated use of geophysical methods for the quantitative study of the effectiveness of chemical and microbiological reactions occurring during remediation processes of contaminated soils and sites.

Started in December 2017, the GeoProcesS project will run at least until November 2022.
