Here are some utilities you may find usefull in downloading and playing Color Computer music files and running Coco programs. Some are utilities I have used since the golden days of the Coco. Some are recently developed by current members of the Coco Community.
I will try to provide RSDOS as well as OS9 utilities as well some general Coco utilities and just useful items in general.
One of the new things I added is the upload of VHD hard drive images stocked with software.
For now, most are OS-9 but I plan to get more RSDOS material online soon.
Note:
Unless otherwise noted, all VHD Hard Drive Images downloadable from this site have both RSDOS and OS-9 partitions.
To use the RSDOS partitions, you must use HDBDOS and have the HDBDOS offsets set as below:
POKE &HD938,5 : POKE &HD939,&HA0 : POKE &HD93A,0
Without these offsets, the RSDOS partition will be in-accessable. If the VHD image is a bootable OS-9 drive, then the offsets will have to be in place to access the boot disk in the RSDOS partition. I normally use the BASIC menu that Robert Gault developed for the VCC emulator hard drive under RGBDOS for Vcc. With this menu, you have the option to boot into RSDOS or OS-9 with several options.
Only the VHD images noted as "Bootable" have a boot disk installed. Otherwise the VHD is a straight data drive.
Also
Some of the DSK images here were inadvertantly created under the DMK format which is incompatible with many systems. I am currently trying to reconstruct all DSK images to use the JVC format which is compatible with most sytems including DriveWire 4. Please be patient and they will all soon be converted.
