This is my first of three '65 GTO's that I've restored. It has a 389 with a tri-power, Muncie M21 transmission and posi rear end. I found the car at a local junkyard after it had hit a telephone pole in Boston. It needed a new nose, frame and driver's side door along with a complete rebuilding and restoration of every mechanical component. The engine was bored 0.030" over and a tri-power intake system was added. The original transmission was a 3-speed and I decided to upgrade it to a 4-speed Muncie. The paint is a deep burgundy lacquer.
