This is a new air pump caver that I made as a series of 13 covers in all for 1914 Cadillacs. Cadillacs of this vintage provided an air pump driven off of the engine to allow the driver to re-inflate leaking or damaged tires. The pump is driven by a set of gears and to provide a measure of safety and protection to the operator or mechanic, a cover was installed. As time wore on, mechanics often took the covers off and discarded them leaving most Cadillacs of this era without a cover. I was contacted by the vintage Cadillac Club to make new ones.
