1959 Starcraft Runabout

I've always loved Mahogany Runabout style boats and so I've considered building one from scratch and even ordered a set of plans for a 14 footer runabout from Glen-L. The biggest issue was the lack of enclosed space needed to build it so while searching Craigslist for about a year I finally found a derelict 14 foot aluminum Starcraft. The boat and trailer were bought for a mere $150. Below documents the repurposing of this boat to combine both a polished aluminum hull with Mahogany decking and seats.
