2012 Report

Our 15^th annual stick show was again a great success with the number of entries being nearly the same as last year - 479 sticks this year compared to 481 last year. The entries in the novice were down a few sticks compared to last year and the junior section was also down a few sticks. However, the standard in this class was very high with the champion stick in the novice coming from this class.

Overall the standard of sticks seems to be getting better every year.

Our Judges Mr Dennis Wall & Mrs Linda Wall who travelled all the way from Ulverston in Cumbria complimented the quality and craftsmanship of the sticks shown.

The competitors from across the border again commented that the Crosshands Show is the best that they had ever attended and that they will be back again next year.

The craft demonstrations were again a big success with our visitors.
