Our Great GGGGGGGGG Grandmother was the Indian Princess Catonas from the Montauk tribe from Long Island NY
Her common name was Heather Flower and she was born in the year 1604 on Monauk Point.
Princess Catanous married The Dutch settler: VanTexal (Van Tassel) who tried to purchase Long Island back for her.
But he could not raise enough money. Some of their descendants are the MacMenamin's.
