James Robert Crisfield, 88, of Acworth, died August 12, 2019. 

He was in the US Coast Guard, and had retired from Mt. Pleasant, NY Police Dept., as a Police Officer.

"Betty Anne"  Elizabeth Anne Crisfield, 71, of Dallas died Sunday, January 25, 2009. Private family memorial services will be held at a later time. A native of New York, Mrs. Crisfield was a home maker and was also employed for several years as a co manager at the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Shop in Brunswick, GA. She was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church on St. Simons Island. She is survived by her husband, James R. Crisfield, Sr., of Dallas; daughter, Monica Wright of Acworth; sons, Matthew Crisfield of Dallas and James R. Crisfield, Jr. of Arlington, VA; grandchildren, Kaleigh Wright, Clayton Wright, Cole Wright, Stephanie Crisfield, Ryan Crisfield, and Addelyn Crisfield; brother, Vincent McGuire of Oxford, MS; In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Shop 1217 Newcastle St. Brunswick, GA 31520. Collins Funeral Home 4947 N Main St. Acworth, GA is in charge of arrangements.

CRISFIELD, Dennis Charles Sr.,  
was  born in Ossining, New York on November 19, 1943 and died in Spring Hill, Florida January 14, 2020.   Age 77

Dennis (Cousin Dinky as he was referred to in the Crisfield family)  grew up in Montrose by his beloved Hudson River. After graduating from Hendrick Hudson High School he enlisted in the USAF and served four years stateside and in Greece.  In June 1966 he and Janet were married.  He attended college and graduated with a BS in Speech Pathology from SUNY at Albany.  He obtained a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from USF.  He worked for 35 years with the Hillsborough County School System, retiring as an area supervisor for staffing in Special Education.

Dennis loved his family, vintage cars and reading archeology magazines and visiting sites when traveling.  Before cell phones if you needed to get in touch with him he could be found in a local pool hall or golf course. His claim to fame was scoring a hole in one.

He is survived by his loving wife: Janet and children: Dennis Jr., and Sarah Babicek (Randy);  sister: Rita Butler; brothers-in law: Robert Hayes and William Atwood; sisters-in-law: Ruth Lyman, Diane Hardos (John), Lois Kroupa and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday, January 25 at 11AM at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 2301 Deltona Blvd., Spring Hill, Florida. Family will receive and host a reception after the service in the parish hall.
