Norwich - Karen (Crisfield) Andrews, 72, of 136 Hunters Road, #81, Norwich, CT died at home on Monday, May 11, 2020. Born on August 22, 1947 in Ossining, New York, she is the daughter of the late Fred Crisfield and Rae Grasso. January 20, 1979 was a special day in Karen's life. On that day she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. That's the day she symbolized her dedication to her creator, Jehovah God. From then on, that was the driving force in her life to serve her heavenly father wholeheartedly. Karen never missed an opportunity to tell others of her hope founded on her study of the Bible. She was an avid Bible student, and always maintained a regular share in her ministry from house to house, studying the Bible with people. She will be remembered for her ever present smile, her interest in other people, to be helpful and always ready to lend a helping hand or meet a need someone may have had. On July 19, 1986 she married Allan Andrews. They were both actively involved as members of the Newport R.I. congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. For the last 21 years, both Allan and Karen have served together in the Norwich English congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She will be greatly missed by her husband, family, and by all whose lives she touched. For years Karen derived her income from cleaning houses and offices, however her greatest joy was in telling others about the hope of God's Kingdom restoring this earth to a paradise, this she did without charge. We know we will see her again in that paradise as a happy, healthy woman when God's will takes place "as in heaven, also on earth." Matthew 6:10.
