crestwicke STREET SAFETY

The unposted speed limit throughout the Crestwicke subdivisions is 25 mph. In areas where there are children, the recommended speed is 15 mph. Please slow down and be alert for pedestrians, children, pets, golf carts and bicyclists. The same applies to non-motorists: please remain alert for traffic and stay on the side of the road that faces oncoming traffic. Anyone walking or biking should wear reflective clothing and carry a flashlight during low-light times. Everyone is responsible for safety!

Parents should carefully supervise their children on the street, including when driving golf carts. It's tempting to speed, so be sure your children, especially those without drivers' licenses, are aware of safety guidelines if they are allowed to drive golf carts.

Because we do not have curbs or sidewalks, our roads are narrow and parking is limited. We ask that visitors and construction or landscaping crews park as far off the road as possible. Heavy equipment should stay off adjoining neighbors' yards to avoid damage. Also, please park vehicles facing in the direction of traffic and on the side of the road closest to the property you are visiting. Overnight parking is not prohibited; however, we encourage longer-term visitors to park their vehicles in driveways wherever possible.
