Deep Dive Into Role

During my time at the State University of New York at Fredonia, I focused on sharpening my news production and video editing skills through hands-on experience in student media. I contributed to two full news packages for WNYF’s Channel 8 Update, our campus news program.

My most significant achievement, however, was serving as Executive Producer for WNYF’s flagship sports show, Sports Hour. In this role, I led the show's creative direction, coordinated with on-air talent and crew, and ensured high production quality each week. This led to the show doubling its crew size, views, and is currently the biggest show for the station. 

In addition to Sports Hour, I worked on a wide variety of other productions, including:

These experiences gave me a comprehensive understanding of live and studio production, as well as the teamwork and leadership skills needed to succeed in fast-paced media environments.
