My time as a Thunderbird began on August 1, 2022, when I joined St. John’s University as Assistant Multimedia Director.

Building on my experience with the Salem Red Sox, I focused heavily on video editing and multimedia production. Highlights included creating hype videos—such as for the women’s basketball NCAA tournament run—and serving as executive producer for the 2023 Red Storm Report, which aired for 10 weeks on MSG Network. I edited segments daily, often under tight deadlines, and produced a standout feature on long-time WFAN announcer John Minko.

I also honed my skills in Adobe After Effects, especially in crafting lower-thirds graphics for in-house content. Beyond editing, I supported over 100 live broadcasts across multiple sports, streaming to platforms like the BIG EAST Digital Network, FloSports, and ESPN. For men’s basketball, I worked with FOX and CBS to integrate their broadcasts with our jumbotron system.

I regularly operated the fan cam and took on roles such as 3Play operator, camera operator, graphics operator, technical director and director. St. John’s gave me a valuable opportunity to grow in all areas of sports media production—both behind the scenes and on the front lines.
