"I have been going through a lot of OCD related anxiety in the past few years and I have been visiting a few therapists but never felt this process of talking with a therapist would work until I heard a lot about CBT and decided to give it ago. I was very lucky to have Connie as my CBT therapist as she gave me a very different experience this time. She is very attentive, patient and caring and helped me to learn CBT techniques to be able to calm myself down when I needed the most. She is very professional and very committed to helping people with their problems. She provided me with a great toolkit on how to overcome my OCD and to be stronger. She basically helped me being myself again. If you are looking for a therapist that listens to you and cares about your problems, then I highly recommend Connie. Thank you again Connie for helping me out during that difficult time."

"I had spent years feeling anxious and not knowing what it really was. Then when I hit 30 and responsibilities heightened due to parenting, work and life stresses it got so much worse. Socially I became a bit of a mess, avoiding situations and making excuses constantly. I needed help and needed it quick.
Connie's therapy gave me the tools I required to face the demons head on and once I understood more about it this then lead to increased confidence and self esteem. I have now carried this on in life since therapy ended and never looked back.
She made me feel comfortable from the outset. I am a changed man now, due to my level of understanding of the problems I had and ways to deal with them.
I will always be grateful for her help and will never go to anyone else if I ever require further therapy."

"I began therapy with Connie to address some extreme anxieties I had around flying; an issue that had built up over years and finally culminated on me missing a very significant and costly business trip. I was unable to make it past the security gates, let alone board the plane! It was a high-pressure issue that was affecting many areas of my personal life, including my confidence in both work and my mental state in general.
From the very first session, I was made to feel welcome and my anxieties and boundaries respected. Connie quickly helped me come to terms with the issues I was having and their root causes through open discussions and a variety of practical exercises; many of which I find useful for other areas in my life too!
By working through my issues with Connie, I was not only able to get to the airport and on the plane, I was also able to enjoy the experience of flight and the anticipation of the resultant trip itself. This was no less than a complete paradigm shift for me! I would fully recommend Connie to anyone, thanks to her manner, ability and skill in which she helps people find a solution that is tailored to the individual."

"I attended CBT therapy with Connie after 30 years of having a severe phobia of birds which affected how I lived my life. I avoided public areas and outdoor spaces, based holidays around how many birds were native to the area, and spent majority of my time outside filled with anxiety and checking for birds (especially pigeons) nearby. Connie was calming, understanding and let me open up about my fears, which I hadn't been able to do as many people made me feel the phobia was silly or amusing. Through a few months of visiting her therapy sessions, we slowly tackled my phobia in small steps and getting my anxiety to minimal before moving to the next stage. After 10 sessions, I managed to stand next to a pond with countless birds around me, walking round my feet and flying over me and I remained relatively calm - this is something I would not have been able to do without having a panic attack even thinking about it. I never dreamed I would have been able to walk through a park, or feel calm in outside spaces but from doing CBT I have seen drastic improvement to my day to day life, and my heart rate and anxiety levels have improved as a result. She gave me tools to prevent regression which I am using to keep practising everything I learnt and pushing away the phobia. I would highly recommend Connie's services and she has given me a new sense of freedom."

"I’ve been struggling with anxiety for a number of years. I had CBT Counselling sessions with Connie for around 4 months. During my counselling sessions with Connie, she provided a safe space where I felt listened to, challenged and supported. Through therapy sessions with Connie, learnt a number of techniques and and different ways for me to think about things. With Connie’s help and counselling I feel my anxiety is now under control and would recommend Connie to anyone that’s looking for CBT treatment."

"The experience of this therapy changed me deeply. This was the best investment I made in terms of what I gained in my life. I would and I do advice Connie to every friend who is in need. I have never felt this good in my life. Now I finally have the energy and the clarity of mind I've always looked for through reading, psychotherapy, advise, you name it. I’m not stuck anymore. The assessment of my condition was correct, the therapy was correct, the results are obvious. This CBT therapy with Connie was a blessing. I have been struggling with anxiety for twentyfive years. Now it’s all gone and I feel great. Connie did it, she helped me, and now I can be and do whatever I‘ve always wanted to. My life is not on hold anymore. I can finally move on now and revolutionize my life with clarity of mind. Thank you Connie for helping me to finally unlock my potential."

"I have found Connie to be an extremely professional and yet approachable and empathetic therapist. Her therapy techniques are sensitive yet logical; I felt very comfortable discussing matters during our sessions and appreciated the practical steps and advice that she provided. I am very grateful for her help in managing my anxiety and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a therapist."

"I had pulled my hair since my teens (basically half my life) and tried a few things over the years, with varying degrees of success, but always relapsed. After just a few sessions with Connie I managed to break the habit. I'd tried CBT before and it was really intense and quite difficult to keep up with, but Connie's techniques made it almost easy! We worked on a plan and tools in case of relapse and had a follow up session some weeks later to check on my progress, so I felt that I was fully prepared when our sessions ended. My hair has now fully grown back. I am really glad that Connie was my therapist, would highly recommend her."

'I had struggled with social anxiety for most of my life and had worked with therapists in the past but never found someone who was I fully at ease with. This meant previous experiences of counselling and CBT had limited impact. From the first session with Connie I found our work very different. I looked forward to our sessions and they provided a safe space for me to open up. The practical focus was really effective for me, for the first time I felt positive and believed in myself. Connie encouraged me to experiment with what I could do differently in circumstances where I felt most challenged. Our sessions have rebuilt confidence I had lost many years ago. I’m also learning to sit with discomfort and, at times, I am choosing to lean into it to ultimately feel stronger in myself. Connie’s calm, sensitive and caring approach also helped me navigate the early experiences of lockdown. I felt supported at all times working with Connie. '
