• Preparations.

Luckily my Dad has a double garage so space was no issue, thanks Dad. I wired in eight more strip lights to brighten things up. The next thing I needed, was something to put the chassis on. Looking through the build manual a trolley is shown, which you can hire from Quantum. I phoned Richard at Quantum and asked if he could send up a drawing of the trolley so I could fabricate my own. This he did and we set to work building it.

After waiting 8 weeks the day finally arrived.

The picture on the van doesn't leave you wondering if this is the delivery you have been waiting for.

Eh! Maybe we need a bigger garage!

You soon realise how many bits make up a car, even one as basic as a seven style.
