Lodge Officers Meeting – Minutes 01/29/2024
Open
Battle Hill Lodge hosted and provided Sloppy Joes, Chips, Drinks and Dessert for the Brethren.
The meeting was opened by WB Jim Moore at approximately 7:00pm
Opening Prayer was given.
The Pledge of Allegiance was presented.

Discussions/Upcoming Events:
· Traveling Gavel is at Battle Hill
· Dick spoke on School of Instruction.
· Dallas Fellowcraft Club is closed.
· More volunteers are needed for the Lodge of Sorrow presentation for CC Convention in April.
· MELD Lectures – sign up with John Miller.
· LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE in Milledgeville. Early Bird $275, $300 at the door.
2nd Weekend in July 12,13,14.
Deadline for registration is 3/31/24.
· Dick Cunningham spoke on Low12 Club and Memorial Club.
· Col Moore spoke on the GL Forum
o Per Capita Taxes – proposal for 5yr plan
o Excellent Membership Presentation is available online

Relief:
Bill McGloin is improving; Jim Moore Son-in-Law had a heart attack and passed;
Johnny Cosby’s Sister passed; Johnny Cosby’s wife needs continued prayers;
Chuck Standridge - Battle Hill JW needs our prayers for recovery from a gunshot wound!
