FAQ
What is the difference between a coach and a psychologist?
A coach does not look back into the past, but works with that what is currently present and looks into the future. We do not look for the cause of a problem, but focus on solutions based on where you currently are.
Coaching is fluffy and soft, so nothing for me
I can understand this thought, but be reassured, coaching is based on known techniques from neuropsychology, the psychology that focusses on how the brain works and this is pure science. On top of this, a coach is an experienced listener and observer. These are normal skills, that a coach has developed more than others.
Should I not better go to a training?
Following a training is always useful. But have you also experienced that despite the new knowledge you gained nothing has really changed? This is because most trainings do not focus on specific drivers to do something (or not). With coaching you will gain insight in exactly this.Â
