Premier wants isotope reactor in Prairies (Globe & Mail, June 20, 2009) by Patrick Brethour. In this article, Premier Brad Wall makes it clear he intends to push ahead with nuclear expansion in Saskatchewan before the final report on the UDP public hearings is completed. The article says Mr. Wall wants expedited federal regulatory approval, and expects this as yet undesigned or funded reactor to be operational in 3 years.
