Slight Change

Our facility just got reviewed and we're compliant!

Mostly. We passed inspection, but the State Department would like us to start keeping our PARGs and checklists in the file cabinet instead of the unlocked desk drawers next to us. I've moved them all to the PARG folder.

I'm attaching the checklist that the inspector used with me. Please read over it and give yourself a little review to see how you're doing based on the inspection standards. The inspector extra-emphasized that we want to compare photos and IDs to the faces of the people who bring them.

It sounds like we've been really busy, which is excellent, but it can make you feel pretty pressured (especially when we're understaffed). Just breathe nice and deep, remember that the applications take the time that they take and you can't be rushed through them no matter how many people are waiting. Prioritize appointments, but slip walk-ins in where you can. And if you can't get to everybody that day, offer an appointment for another day.

You guys are doing great.
