Parking Garage

Since there are no longer attendants in the garage, patrons have to press the help button if they need assistance. Calls are routed to staff at the City's Compliance Dept, which runs the garage and parking enforcement. There's only one phone line, so if there are multiple people calling, they will get a busy signal.

If patrons call us or come into the building to report problems, e.g. no answer, stuck at gates, tickets are not dispensing, suggest they try the help button again. If the issue is still not resolved or there are multiple problems, please call the Compliance Dept main number 801-535-6628. They have someone in the office on weekends and evenings and can send over a parking enforcement officer. Please tell them what's happening and ask how long before they get here. In an emergency, the wait will be long, or cars are backing up, call library security.
