Ellipses

This assignment has two components.Note that both are due by your next class.

First is the simulation:

• You need to spend at least a couple of minutes playing with each component, prior to trying to answer the questions. You can use your notes as well.
• You will complete the graphic organizer as you go use the simulation.

Next is your drawing.

This will be uploaded to your class' google drive OR dropbox. I will take either. If you have no way to do this, you can bring in a hard copy.

You will be drawing all parts of an ellipse and uploading your pic to the shared google folder for your period. This is due by Monday night at midnight. Expect a quiz!!! If you have no means to upload, a hard copy, also due Monday, is sufficient. Note-you can draw this in google drawing and make it look awesome!!!

Your ellipse should have an eccentricity of ~.6

Things to include AND label:

1. Major axis
2. Semi-major axis
3. Focus (foci)
4. Perihelion (perigee)
5. Apehelion (apogee)
6. and of course your planet and direction of revolution
