we are looking forward to seeing you next Sunday for the first of what we hope will be a long and rewarding series of workshops on pedagogies related to teaching Chinese language and culture. This year's session will serve as a broad overview of how technology relates to our pedagogical concepts, instructional needs and can promote development of specific skills among our students. Come join us as we discuss the following questions:
What are some of the primary assumptions we can have about language learning and teaching for our classes?
What are techniques that can turn PowerPoint into a really effective language-learning tool?
How can Microsoft Word encourage flexible and yet deeper feedback to student compositions?
Did you know that Google applications can help to organize as well as provide course content?
What can online collaborative forums (Blogs/Wikis) offer our students?
What are some effective (and popular!) programs for helping students develop their proficiencies?
See you Sunday!
