We are a well established branch, formed on 4th March 2004, by BSAOC members living mainly in Cheshire. We organise short runs, longer runs, and various social activities including quizes and talks. Amongst our members we have experts who can help you with restoring your bike or point you in the right direction for spare parts.
Our twice-monthly club nights are well attended with a nucleus of regular attenders and a good number of occasional visitors. We do our best to make new members feel welcome. Like most clubs, our members come from many different walks of life and we have the usual rowdies, quieter types, and thoughtful ones, but beneath the bluster and banter of club night there is a wealth of knowledge and expertise about BSA's which we are keen to share (usually in exchange for a beer or two!)
Some of our members have been riding and restoring BSA's for longer than they would wish to admit and have more than one bike to bring out on a run, others are still at the 'now where does this bit go?' stage. We make sure everybody is able to participate, regardless of their circumstances. Some of our runs are for BSA's only, but the majority of runs and all social events are organised on an 'everybody welcome' basis, regardless of whether members are BSA mounted or not.
Amongst our members there are engineers, members of the motor trade and classic bike trade so if you need the last piece of unobtanium for your classic restoration we can probably find it,..... or make it!
