• CESE(College Experts programs on Social Economy) is the first undergraduate program among Korean universities to cultivate
college students as experts on social economy. It started from September 2014 and would be continued for five consecutive years
by the government (MOE: Ministry of Education) funding.
• CESE program is operated as a joint unit consortium of three relevant departments (Dept. of Economics, Accounting and English
language) in the university. It was originally designed to make undergraduate students complete the regular degree program.
This program consists of four academic degree course (Connected, Dual Major, Minor and Certificate course) depending on credits
the students have to complete.
• The established subjects deals with various themes such as history, philosophy, economics, management skills, NGO accountings,
and international cooperation. The courses also have classes on practical training and internship program at the relevant socio-economic
firms, organizations and cooperatives.
• In three years or so, CESE is scheduled to be a new college education model. It will be transformed into a new college or school
specialized in social economy. It will be also expected to be a platform organization in region’s social economic areas in the medium
and longer terms.
