Y Neuadd Privacy Policy & GDPR Compliance
This page aims to set out the privacy policy for Y Neuadd along with how we comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Cefneithin and Foelgastell Welfare Association uses personal data for the purposes of managing the hall, its bookings and finances, running events at the hall, and marketing of our events. Data may be retained for up to 3 years for accounts purposes and for longer where required by the hall’s insurers. If you would like to find out more about how we use your personal data or want to see a copy of information about you that we hold, please contact us via cefneithinhall@gmail.com.
The only information we hold about you is that collected when taking bookings (for example name and telephone number). At no point do we store information about you not provided by yourselves. Those details are kept secure until the time lapses that we no longer need them.
We operate an email mailing list program, used to inform subscribers about products, services and/or news we supply/publish. Users can subscribe through an online automated process where they have given their explicit permission. Subscriber personal details are collected, processed, managed and stored in accordance with the GDPR requirements. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time through an automated online service, or if not available, other means as detailed in the footer of sent marketing messages (or unsubscribe from all Mailchimp lists). The type and content of marketing messages subscribers receive, and if it may contain third party content, is clearly outlined at the point of subscription.
