Lá Fhéile Pádraig

Known in Ireland as La Fheile Padraig. Known elsewhere as St. Patrick's Day. It is both a cultural, and religious, feast day in remembrance of

the death of St. Patrick, which was on March 17, 461AD (approximately). One of the main food dishes served, traditionally in the United States,

on this day is Corned Beef and Cabbage. I hate to break your blarney bubble, but Corned Beef is NOT an Irish meal. It is an American meal. Also,

this day is not celebrated in the same manner in Ireland, as it is here in the United States. There is far less commercialism involved in Ireland

(on a general level, that is), and as such, St. Patrick's Day, although a festival to be had, is not nearly the same as it is in the USA.

So, as we say here in California: Erin Go Braless!

Enjoy the creations everyone!
