BEES are highly recognized pollinators. Some FLIES are beneficial pollinators as well, like this FLOWER FLY sitting on top of a small lily pad.
butterflies are a small, tawny-orange butterfly dependent upon native, fescue-dominated grasslands in Oregon, Washington and northwest California.
(seen here on a blue pickerel bloom below an exotic butterfly).
We have 3 orchards that include walnuts, apples, pears, plums, cherries, blueberries strawberries and blackberries. POLLINATORS make it possible for us to enjoy all the fruit from these orchards.
CRAB SPIDERS are commonly found in flower blossoms. Our Goldenrod Crab Spider is normally yellow or white depending on flower color in which they are hunting.
