It looks like we will not be performing our K-1 Concert this year. I know many students have been practicing, so feel free to record a video of yourself singing one of these songs and email it to me.
I am also posting these activities on SeeSaw. If you prefer handing in a paper copy, that is fine too. Check out the videos below for help with page 2.
Denise Gagne has made this resource available to students and teachers during the outbreak (see link below). Student Login is snow, password is 2020. Login and click on the Grade 1 tab. On the left side of the screen there is a list songs with which students can sing along. Many songs have practice videos available in the middle of the screen.
Here are some suggested songs:
42. Down by the Bay
43. Fais Dodo (French Immersion)
44. Elevator
91. Bunny Rabbit Boogie
99.Oats and Beans and Barley
100. Savez-Vous Plantez les Choux? (French Immersion)
Please share videos of songs you have learned.
This website also features many music games to reinforce the musical skills we have learned in class. Two examples are "Which Rhythm Do You Hear?" (Levels 1 and 2) and "Match the Melody" (Levels 1 and 2).
Playing the Music ABC's is a fun way to make music that will be unique to everyone who plays. Encourage your family members to join you. See the file below for instructions.
