Colin is a PhD student starting in the lab Fall 2020. He earned is BS in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University in the Spring of 2020. His broader research interest is in integrative cardiopulmonary physiology looking to study mechanics of breathing and respiratory muscle function. Specifically, he is current work is looking at the presence and magnitude of coactivation of the respriatory muscles at the point of fatigue, i.e., do the expiratory muscles become fatigued during inspiratory muscle pressure-threshold loading. Outside the lab, Colin is an avid mountain biker and enjoys disc golf, camping, fishing, rock climbing and soccer.
