Thursday, August 29, 2024 - 5:00 - 7:00 PM - BRE “Back to School” Carnival for the whole community (tickets available mid-August).  This annual tradition is so fun for the students and features bounce houses, a cake walk, opportunities to splash teachers, food trucks and more.

You're invited to join us at Blue Island Oyster Bar in Lone Tree, September 12th at 5:30 PM  for a Taco Bar, Passed Snacks, and Casamigos Tequila Tasting.  (Everyone 21+ from the BRE HERD is welcome!)

Our goal is to provide students with a fun, healthy, and educational experience while raising money and building school spirit!

We are asking Students to engage their families and community by asking for donations to support our fundraising during these next two weeks. This is a Student-Led fundraiser which we hope will be fun for all of our families and students! Check out our great prizes!

The funds raised will go towards purchasing the following items to continue to enhance our students’ classroom and school experience:

1. enVision Mathematics – Manipulative Kits for each classroom

2. New Magnetic Easels – for each classroom

3. iPad with Stylus Pen – for each classroom to use with Smart TVs

4. BRE Poster Maker – to eliminate outsourced printing costs

5. Custom BRE All Weather, Slip Resistant Rugs – at each entrance

Want to learn more about the BREA?  Every stakeholder is welcome to our next BREA General Meeting October 4th, 6:00 PM at school.  Save the date and hope to see you there!

Our school-wide party, Buffy’s Bash, will be held during school-hours for students and volunteers on Tuesday, October 31st.  Our school-wide Costume Parade for parents, friends, and caregivers will be held outdoors on the blacktop at 2:40 PM that day.

Every year our school and BREA honor our Veterans.  This year, our BREA is sponsoring a breakfast.  Ziggi’s Coffee is donating some hot chocolate and coffee for this event.  Tony’s Market as well as Santiagos are giving us a discount on the food for the breakfast. Thank you! 

Following the BREA breakfast, the school will be honoring each Veteran attendee at the assembly, by introducing each Veteran and showing a quick Veteran's Day video, letting the kids of our community say, "Thank you."

Buffalo Ridge Educational Alliance presents the 5th Grade Dance, Sock Hop!

The BRE Garden is sponsoring our annual holiday fundraiser. This year we offer various holiday decorations including handmade wreaths, Christmas trees, fresh garland, poinsettias, and decorative wooden reindeer and snowmen.  Please visit the BRE Garden Club Page for more information.
