Announcements and Updates

Greetings Kairos Community:

If you would like to take part in a reunion, you'll need to do the following:

• Your TDCJ Volunteer training must be up to date.  If you're not sure, you can confirm this by going to the TDCJ training website at:  https://www.tdcj.texas.gov/php/prod/volunteer_training/         Select the button at the bottom that says "check your status".

• You must be on the Approved Volunteer List (AVL) for Briscoe.  If you're not sure, you can request that from Sherman Armstrong.

Kairos at the Dolph Briscoe Unit is up and running with Prayer and Share now happening every Thursday, and monthly reunions are every third Saturday of the month.  I look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event!  The men will greatly appreciate you making time for them.

 Kairos Weekend Date

 The Briscoe Kairos Weekend #29 will be held on October 16 - 19 , 2025.  The weekend leader is Mark Hodges.

Prayer and Share Information

Prayer and Share is held every Thursday evening at Briscoe.  Volunteers going inside should arrive at the gate no later than 6:00 p.m. 

And REMEMBER Do NOT come to Briscoe for Prayer and Share unless you know you're on the current Approved Volunteer List!!!!!!!  Contact Sherman Armstrong for more information:   shermanlarmstrong@sbcglobal.net
